UKPSC RO ARO Exam Pattern 2025

UKPSC RO/ARO exam consists of Prelims, Mains, Skill Test. The exam pattern for the following stages are as follows:

UKPSC RO ARO Prelims Exam Pattern 2025

• The prelims exam consists of one paper (General Studies & Mental Ability) only which is of 150 marks. 
• There are a total of 150 questions in the paper. 
• The duration of the exam is 2 hours

UKPSC RO ARO Mains Exam Pattern 2025

• The Mains examination consists of three papers - a) General Studies b) Hindi Composition c) Essay. 
• Paper II & Paper III are descriptive papers
• Paper 1 is of 200 marks, containing 100 questions. There is also a negative marking of 1/4 in Paper 1.
• Paper II is of 100 marks containing 5 questions of 20 marks each
• Paper III is also of 100 marks containing 3 questions of 33.33 marks each
• The duration of each paper is 3 hours.

UKPSC RO ARO Skill Test

Candidates who pass the preliminary and mains examination are called for the skill test. The duration of the exam is 1 hour. Candidates will tested for their computer knowledge. The maximum mark for this test is 100.
