OSSSC Recruitment 2023: Check Last Date Apply, Vacancy, Eligibility & Salary for Laboratory Technician & Radiographer

OSSSC Recruitment 2023 notification has been released for 921 Laboratory Technician posts & 378 Radiographer posts. The online application process began on September 21, 2023. The last date to apply for OSSSC Recruitment 2023 is October 20, 2023. Candidates must note that no examination fee is payable for these posts. Candidates can download the detailed recruitment notification for these posts through the official website of the Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC). 

To be eligible for OSSSC recruitment, the candidate must be an Indian citizen. Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and their age must not exceed 38 years as on the date of recruitment advertisement. Candidates must also be able to speak, read & write Odia. Candidates must also have the minimum educational qualifications required for each post. 

The selection process for the post of OSSSC Laboratory Technician & OSSSC Radiographer involves a written test only (MCQ type in OMR System). The duration of the exam will be 2 hours.The minimum qualifying marks SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen & Sportsperson category candidates will be 30% (35% for other candidates).

On the basis of the written test a provisional merit list will be issued. After this, the commission will release a screening list for document verification. Eligible candidates will then go through the counselling process for district allocation. After this, candidates will be able to download the district-wise provisional results from the official OSSSC website.

Note: Candidates with higher education qualifications like Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) or Master in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) are also eligible to apply provided they satisfy the basic eligibility criteria.

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 Science Exam under the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha, or equivalent and must have passed a Diploma in Medical Radiation Technology (DMRT) from any Govt. Medical College & Hospitals of the State/ any other private institution recognised by the Govt. of Odisha or AICTE

• Language: Candidate must be able to speak, read & write Odia 

• Candidates with temporary disability are NOT eligible to apply for this post
