ICAR AIEEA 2023: Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) conducts the All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA) through National Testing Agency. The ICAR AIEEA (PG) examination is held for admission to Master’s degree programs at Agricultural Universities. ICAR AIEEA PG 2023 has been held on July 9, 2023. The ICAR AIEEA PG admit card 2023 was released on July 5, 2023. 

The ICAR AIEEA exam is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and the exam duration is 2 hours. There are 120 multiple-choice questions in the ICAR AIEEA exam. There is a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer and 4 marks are awarded for each correct answer. The agricultural disciplines in which candidates can seek admission through the ICAR AIEEA PG exam include horticulture, agriculture, veterinary, agricultural engineering, dairy science, community science, fisheries, forestry, and other allied sciences. 

The application forms for ICAR AIEEA 2023 were released on May 22, 2023. The last date to submit the online application form was June 23, 2023. The application process is complete after paying the application fee. Candidates who have completed the application process will be eligible to receive the admit cards. The ICAR AIEEA admit card is a mandatory document required for entry to the examination hall.

The ICAR AIEEA PG exam is conducted for candidates seeking admission to Master’s degree programs in agricultural and allied sciences at ICAR-affiliated agricultural universities. ICAR AIEEA PG exam is administered by NTA (National Testing Agency). The admission process for 30% of seats in Master’s degree courses in Agricultural Universities takes place through the ICAR AIEEA PG entrance exam. For the 4 ICAR-Deemed Universities, 100% of seats are filled through the AIEEA examination.

ICAR AIEEA Admit Card 2023

• Admit cards will be issued to candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria.
• Candidates have to download the admit card from the official website of NTA. 
• Candidates will be allowed to take the exam only as per the examination schedule mentioned in the admit card.
• Admit cards will not be sent by post.
• Candidates will not receive admit cards if they have not completed the application process.
• In case of any discrepancies in the admit card, candidates will have to immediately reach out to the examination authorities through the given helpline between 10 AM and 5 PM. 

ICAR AIEEA Exam Pattern 2023 

• The ICAR AIEEA exam is conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT)
• The duration of the ICAR AIEEA exam is 2 hours
• The number of questions in the ICAR AIEEA exam is 120.
• The questions are objective type multiple choice-based questions. 
• Each correct response is awarded with 4 marks. 
• There is a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer. 

ICAR AIEEA Result 2023

• Provisional answer keys along with question papers will be displayed for around 2 - 3 days. 
• Candidates will be given the opportunity to raise objections against the answer key on the payment of a non-refundable fee of INR 200.
• ICAR prepares the overall merit or rank list separately for each subject. In case, candidates secure equal marks in the entrance exam, the relative merit will be decided in the following order: 

• Candidates who have scored less negative marks will be given a higher rank in the merit list.
• Candidates who are senior in age will receive a higher rank in the merit list.  
• Candidates who have scored higher in their Class 12 examination will be allotted a higher rank in the merit list.  

• The ICAR AIEEA results 2023 will be declared on the official website of NTA.
