AFCAT Result 2024: Candidates who wish to get recruited to the Indian Air Force take the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT). The exam is conducted two times yearly, referred to as AFCAT 1 and 2. Paper 1 is generally held in the month of February, whereas, paper 2 is conducted a few months after that. The conducting body releases the AFCAT 2024 result after the successful conclusion of the exam.

AFCAT 2 Exam Analysis
AFCAT 2 was held recently and the overall difficulty level of the exam was considered to be moderate. The daily schedule comprised of two separate shifts: the initial one spanning from 9:45 AM to 11:45 AM, followed by the second shift from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Aspirants revealed that the evaluation of the examination indicated a moderate level of difficulty, suggesting that candidates should ideally aim to answer between 65 to 75 questions.
AFCAT Merit List 2024
The candidates who clear the written exam and the AFSB interviews will be eligible for the final AFCAT merit list. For the online test and the Interview, the IAF determines different minimum qualifying marks. Based on the combined marks from these two rounds, candidates will be ranked in order of merit.
The allocation of applicants for Permanent Commission/Short Service Commission in Ground Duty and Flying Branches is done in accordance with the availability of AFCAT vacancies, how well candidates performed throughout the selection process, and their preferences.
Next Step after the AFCAT Result 2024
The candidates who took the AFCAT written exam must meet the released AFCAT cut-off in order to proceed to the next stage of the selection process. The AFSB Interview will be the next stage and after that, the selected candidates will be required to appear for the medical examination.
