NIT Mizoram Placement 2025: The placement drive held in National Institute of Technology, Mizoram every year is controlled by its Training and Placement Cell followed by pre-placement mock test sessions. Training and Placement Cell maintains the entire coordination with the companies and is liable to provide all the necessary details related to placement and internship opportunities to students. From sending invites to the recruiters till sending offer letters to selected candidates the entire process is held with due intimation to the placement cell. The institute continues to provide strong support and ample opportunities for its students to secure placements in reputable companies. Every year the institute oversees growth in the number of students securing placements and becoming company professionals.

NIT Mizoram Placement 2025 - Highlights 

• Recruitment Drive: More than 75 companies participated in the recruitment process at NIT Mizoram in the 2023-2024 academic session. Notable companies included Mahindra & Mahindra, Vedanta, L&T, Adobe, Deloitte, Ashok Leyland, TA Digital, Delta X, Lumiq, KEC International, TCS, Infosys, Alstom, and more.

• Placement Statistics:

  • Till April 2024, 84% of the registered students at the Training and Placement Office (TPO) have been placed.
  • The average CTC (Cost to Company) for placed students is 7 LPA.
  • The placement process is still ongoing until June 2024, with expectations for the placement percentage to increase.

• Internship and Training:

  • The Training and Placement Office organizes training and internship opportunities for students.
  • Internship Credit: Every B.Tech. department has a compulsory internship credit course in its curriculum.
  • Internship Completion: In the 2023-24 academic year, 100% of students completed internships.
  • Prestigious organizations where students interned include SAIL, Indian Railways, Airport Authority of India, Bureau of Indian Standards, PHED & PWD in Mizoram, Power Grid, ECIL, BHEL, IOCL, IOL, CDAC, Google, Microsoft, and more.
  • During internships, some students received stipends ranging from ₹5,000 to ₹20,000 per month.

NIT Mizoram B.Tech Placement

A total of 91 students secured on campus placement out of 105 total final year undergrad students, recording a placement record of 91.92%. The median placement package offered to B.Tech students for the year 2023 was INR 9.80 LPA. In the year 2023 a gradual increase of 33% was observed in the placement session.

NIT Mizoram M.Tech Placement

The median salary offered to M.Tech students of NIT Mizoram was INR 8 LPA and all 5 enrolled students for the placement drive were successfully placed across various companies of engineering sector. An increase of 5% was noticed in the median package offered to M.Tech scholars. Top recruiters for M.Tech were TCS, Accenture, Vedanta, Alstom, Virtusa, Microsoft, etc.
