To be eligible, candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Sciences or related fields with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/DA candidates) or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD. Other acceptable bachelor's degrees include Humanities, Social Sciences, Engineering, Pure Sciences, Commerce, etc., with the same marking criteria.

All candidates must have undergone a minimum of three years of education post-higher secondary schooling. Additionally, admission requires a valid CAT-2022 score.

Seats are reserved for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), EWS, SC, ST, PH, and Kashmiri Migrant categories as per the Government of India rules.
