The National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management, Hyderabad (MANAGE Hyderabad) offers PGDM (ABM- Agri-Business Management), PGDAEM (Post Graduate Diploma in Agricultural Extension Management), online courses in Post Graduate Diploma in Agri-Warehousing Management (PGDAWM), PGDAEM on MOOCs, and more of such professional development programs. 

National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management, Hyderabad's flagship course is PGDM-ABM. MANAGE Hyderabad PGDM-ABM admission requires a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Sciences or a related field with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/DA category candidates). In addition to this, candidates should also have a valid CAT score, according to which seats will be allocated. Reserved category candidates belonging from SC/ST/OBC-NC/EWS/Kashmiri Migrant will be allocated seats as per the Govt. of India Rules. MANAGE Hyderabad PGDM-ABM Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Sciences or related fields with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/DA candidates) or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD. Other acceptable bachelor's degrees include Humanities, Social Sciences, Engineering, Pure Sciences, Commerce, etc., with the same marking criteria.

All candidates must have undergone a minimum of three years of education post-higher secondary schooling. Additionally, admission requires a valid CAT-2022 score.

Seats are reserved for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), EWS, SC, ST, PH, and Kashmiri Migrant categories as per the Government of India rules.

MANAGE Hyderabad PGDM-ABM Admission 2023: Selection Criteria

The admission process involves a multi-stage selection procedure. Eligible candidates are required to submit their CAT-2022 Score Card, and a merit list is generated based on CAT scores for various categories. A Diversity Factor weightage is assigned to academic disciplines.

The CAT Score weightage is computed as a proportion of the candidate's score to the highest score, with a weight of 55. Selection parameters for GD, personal interviews, and other tests are specified for different categories. Work experience weightage is determined based on the number of years of experience.

The academic record is evaluated with a breakdown of marks for Class XII and graduation levels, with normalization according to academic disciplines. The final merit rank list is established by summing up the points earned in all assessment components.

The PGDAEM program offered by the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) is tailored for both public and private extension functionaries. This distance learning initiative equips participants to effectively tackle significant agricultural challenges. Having garnered over 22,000 enrollees in its fifteen-year existence, PGDAEM has emerged as a widely embraced and influential endeavor. Funding for the program is currently extended by the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare. Starting from the academic year 2020-21, distinguished candidates are honored with Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals, fostering a culture of excellence in agricultural extension management.

MANAGE Hyderabad PGD-AEM Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates eligible for the program comprise extension functionaries with a background in Agriculture and related sectors such as Horticulture, Veterinary, and Fisheries. This includes graduates currently employed in Agriculture/Allied sectors within government departments, State Agricultural Universities, ATMA (Block & Assistant Technology Managers), and KVKs (Subject Matter Specialists).

Preference will be accorded to government extension functionaries. Furthermore, graduates in Agriculture and allied subjects, and other individuals employed in Agri-business companies, NGOs, cooperatives, Farmers’ Organizations, Agri-entrepreneurs, and input dealers are also eligible for enrollment in the program.
