The National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) has offered a Post Graduate Diploma in Agri-Business Management since 1996, recognised and accredited, to equip graduates for the agriculture sector. Strong industry placement and summer projects validate its importance.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Eligibility requires a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Sciences or related fields with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/DA candidates) or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of HRD.
• Other eligible bachelor's degrees include Humanities, Social Sciences, Engineering, Pure Sciences, Commerce, etc., with the same mark criteria.
• A minimum of three years of education post-higher secondary schooling is required for all candidates.
• A valid CAT-2022 score is necessary for admission.

Selection Procedure:

• The admission process includes a multi-stage selection procedure.
• Eligible candidates must submit their CAT-2022 Score Card and a merit list is prepared based on CAT scores for different categories.
• Diversity Factor weightage assigned to academic disciplines.
• CAT Score weightage is calculated as a proportion of the candidate's score to the highest score, with a weight of 55.
• Selection parameters for GD, personal interviews, and other tests for different categories are listed.
• Work experience weightage is determined based on years of experience.

National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) PGDAEM has been designed for public and private extension functionaries, this distance learning program empowers participants to address crucial agricultural challenges. With over 22,000 enrollees in fifteen years, PGDAEM has become a popular and impactful initiative. Funding is now provided by the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, and top-performing candidates receive Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals from 2020-21, inspiring excellence in agricultural extension management.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Eligible candidates for the program include extension functionaries graduated in Agriculture and allied sectors (e.g., Horticulture, Veterinary, Fisheries) and other graduates currently employed in Agriculture/Allied sectors within government departments, State Agricultural Universities, ATMA (Block & Assistant Technology Managers), and KVKs (Subject Matter Specialists).
• Preference will be given to government extension functionaries.
