IIT Goa Placements: Highest Package, Average Package Trends and Top recruiting Companies

IIT Goa Placements: Indian Institute of technology, Goa is one of the most prestigious universities with an impressive number of students placed every year.In the placement year 2023 the institute traced 99% students getting successfully placed in top companies to gain in-hand industry experience. In the year 2024 the university provided 90% students securing jobs in various sectors. A total of 116  students were successfully placed out of 163.

A total of 104 out of 105 B.Tech students secured placements through the campus with INR 60 LPA as highest package offered,while the median package for B.tech students stood INR 15 LPA with INR 17.07 LPA as the average package for the year 2023.

In M.Tech courses the highest package offered stood INR 21.82 LPA in Computer science and engineering program with a 90% overall placement rate.Top companies like Google, Microsoft, Paytm, Amazon, Bosch,Siemens, Code nation and others were the part of IIT Goa placement drive.Role in various domains like software engineering, research,product management,etc were offered to the students.

IIT Goa has a separate Career Development Cell (CDC) for offering diverse internship programs and placement drives to students, while playing a pivotal role in acting as a bridge between industry and scholars to prepare students to be a part of the job market.

IIT Goa maintaining its legacy has offered extravagant placement opportunities to its students of batch 2024.A total of 161 recruiters have become the part of placement drive conducted by the institute, out of which top recruiting companies were,Accenture, Amazon, Bosch, Deloitte, IBM, Microsoft, Intel and others.

In the academic year of 2023-2024 the overall placement statistics for students enrolled in B.Tech courses recorded 90.07%.

Overall M.Tech placement percentage traced 90% students successfully securing admission across diverse companies and organisations.

IIT Goa Average Package Trends

Average package offered to students enrolled in various courses of IIT Goa varies from one subject to another.In the year 2023 the placement percentage recorded 99.05% whereas a decline in the placement percentage has been marked in the year 2024 with 90.7% students securing job opportunities via campus. There has also been a considerable difference in the average placement package offered in year 2024 with contrast to previous year. The average package offered in the year 2024 for B.Tech and M.Tech courses were INR 15.92 LPA and INR 11.72 LPA respectively.

Like every year many companies have shown their interest in recruiting scholars from IIT Goa.Some of the prominent companies were Paytm, Microsoft, Mathworks, Google, Amazon,etc.The highest salary offered which is INR 60 LPA was given to a student from Computer Science and Engineering department in the year 2023, whereas highest package offered by the college for the year 2024 is not yet officially released.
