Dr. B.C. Roy Engineering College (BCREC) was established in 2000 in Durgapur, and is one of the earlier private engineering colleges in West Bengal. The college is approved by AICTE, affiliated to MAKAUT, and several of its programs are accredited by the NBA. Over the years, BCREC has expanded to offer 10 B.Tech programs, 4 M.Tech programs, and postgraduate courses in Management and Computer Applications.
