Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management Sciences also known as AIEMS is situated in Bangalore, Karnataka was established in the year 2008 under the umbrella of Basaveshwara Vidya Vardhak Sangh (BVVs), Bagalkot. The institute has been approved by AICTE and is spread over a lush green campus of 15.05 acres. AIEMS Bangalore is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, and currently offers undergraduate engineering programs along with a postgraduate program in Business Administration. The institution also offers a three-year UG diploma programme in Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electronics Communication & Engineering.

At the post-graduate level PhD in specialisation like Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication, and Physics are offered at the institution. AIEMS Bangalore admissions are based on the marks obtained in examinations like COMEDK UGET/KCET/AAT/ Karnataka PGCET for various B.Tech and MBA courses offered by the institution. The institution also offers lateral entry for diploma students in the second year of engineering courses based on the selection criteria comprising students holding a B.Sc degree with mathematics as the main subject, are eligible to apply for admission to the third semester of B.E. / B.Tech programmes.

Library: AIEMS has a central library with 3062 Titles, 20595 Volumes, 72 Journals, and a wide collection of books from Engineering, Management, and General categories, prescribed as per the curriculum and course requirements. The library is fully automated with access to modern learning sources and updated digital collections of books, journals & CDs.

Hostel Facilities: Separate boys and girls hostels are made available within the college campus with 24/7 round-the-clock security. The boys hostel can accommodate up to 110 students with access to facilities like a library, play area, mess facilities, etc. The girls hostels also provided the same facilities with accommodation for  93 individuals.
