WB HS Exam 2024: Result, Dates, Marksheet, Exam Pattern & Syllabus

WBCHSE Exam 2024: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has concluded the WBCHSE HS exam on February 29, 2024. The WB HS results 2024 has been released on May 8, 2024 through a press conference. The WBCHSE result link will be active from 3 PM onwards. The HS result will be available for download on the official website - wbresults.nic.in.

Students who have appeared for the West Bengal class 12th exams 2024 will be able to download their provisional mark sheet by entering their roll number and date of birth, once WBCHSE 12th results are released.

Along with the declaration of WB HS result 2024, the Board will also publish the list of toppers. Students must carefully review the details mentioned on the mark sheet once downloaded. In case of any discrepancy, it is advisable to contact the respective school authorities.

WB HS Class 12 Result 2024

The WBCHSE result 2024 is expected to be released in May 2024. Last year, the results were released on May 24, 2023. Further, a total of 8 lakh candidates appeared for the WBCHSE class 12 exams out of which the pass percentage for this year stood at 89.25%. Students can check the results by using the WBCHSE class 12 roll number and DOB. The results are available on the official website.

Apart from the official websites, candidates can also check the results via SMS and even from the online application called Digilocker. As per the given data, 18 students from the Hooghly district are among the top 10 ranked students. In addition to the results, the WBCHSE also publishes a list of students who have topped the exam. According to the list made public by the exam conducting body in charge of administering the exam, Subharangshu Sardar took first place by earning 496, or 99.2% of the possible points.

WB HS Class 12 Compartment Exam 2024

After the WBCHSE class 12 results are released, candidates who fail in the WBCHSE in one or two subjects of the WBCHSE class 12 exam have to appear for the compartment exam. The WBCHSE class 12 compartment exam. The compartment exam is also known as re-examination wherein candidates re-appear for those exams where they failed while appearing for the actual exams. The WBCHSE class 12 compartment exam datesheet is yet to be released. 

WB HS Class 12 Application Form 2024

Once the date sheet for the WBCHSE class 12 exam is released, the exam conducting body will also release a WBCHSE class 12 application form online. It must be noted, that the application form will not be filled out by the candidates. However, the school authorities will be responsible for filling out the WBCHSE class 12 registration form.  It should be noted that only forms of regular students will be filled by the school authorities. Private candidates will have to fill out the application form by themselves. 

WB HS Class 12 Admit Card 2024

After the WBCHSE class 12 application form is released, the WBCHSE also issues the WBCHSE class 12 admit card. It should be noted that no candidate will be allowed to download the admit card by themselves. Only the school authorities can download the admit card and later distribute the hall tickets among the students. 

Once the candidates have their WBCHSE class 12 admit card, then they can check the important details mentioned on the WBCHSE class 12 admit card. Since the hall ticket is an essential document for a candidate, it consists of the candidate’s important information including their name, roll number, and others. Candidates are advised to carry the WBCHSE class 12 admit card while entering the exam hall or else the candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. 

WB HS Class 12 Syllabus 2024

WBCHSE class 12 syllabus is released by the WBCHSE. The syllabus is released on the official website. Since the WBCSHE class 12 exam has three stages including arts, science, and commerce, the syllabus for all three stages is different compared to one another. Some of the most important subjects in the WBCHSE class 12 exam are maths, biology, chemistry, physics, accountancy, languages, and others. 

While there are some subjects that are common for all three streams. These subjects are mainly language exams. However, there are other subjects that are specifically given to the specific streams. Candidates can view the whole syllabus for each topic by going to the WBCHSE's official website. The exam conducting body uploads a detailed syllabus for each subject in PDF form. 

WBCHSE Class 12 Exam Pattern 2024

Apart from studying the syllabus, candidates should also study the WBCHSE class 12 exam pattern 2024. The exam pattern is an essential part for candidates who are appearing for the exam. The main objective of the WBCHSE class 12 exam pattern is to shed light on topics such as the duration of the exam, whether the exam has negative marking, and others. 

As per the exam conducting body, the WBCHSE class 12 exam is held for 3 hours and 15 minutes. Further, there is no negative marking in the examination and the exam will be held in offline mode. Apart from checking the exam pattern, candidates should also check the WBCHSE class 12 marking scheme. 

WB HS Class 12 Exam 2024

The WBCHSE class 12 exam is conducted by WBCHSE. The official notification regarding the annual examination is released on the official website of WBCHSE. The Board will release the WBCHSE class 12 results in th eonline mode. The official result date is yet to be confirmed. However, students can expect the results to be declared in April 2024.

Last year, the results were declared on May 24, 2023. More than 8 lakh candidates appeared in the exam. The overall pass percentage for last year was 89.25 percent. As per the official statistical report provided by WBCHSE, the overall pass percentage for boys was 91.86%, while the pass percentage for girls was 87.26% in WBCHSE class 12 results

The exam conducting body has already released the West Bengal HS Routine 2024, including both theory and practical exam date sheets. Further, in order to prepare well for WBCHSE class 12, candidates should check the WBCHSE class 12 syllabus 2024 and exam pattern. 

West Bengal HS Exam 2024-25

• The WB HS Routine 2025 has already been released by the official authorities. Next year, the exams will be conducted from March 3 to March 18, 2025.
• The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) introduced a semester system for Class 11 from the academic session 2024-25.
• The change in Class 11 exams will come into effect from the upcoming academic session. However, a similar change for Class 12 exams will be brought in from the 2025-26 academic session.
