WB HS Exam Pattern 2026: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) releases the exam pattern for the students of class 12 in online mode. Students can check and download the subject-wise exam pattern PDFs from the official website - wbchse.wb.gov.in. The detailed syllabus for WB HS exam 2026 will be released soon on the official website of the board.

From the academic year, 2025-26, the board has introduced the semester system in WBCHSE exams. There will be four semesters - Semester 1 and 2 covering the class 11 syllabus while semester 3 and 4 will cover the class 12 syllabus. Semster exams 1 and 3 will contain MCQs only while semester 2 and 4 will have SAQs and DQs. Additionally, the board has introduced Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Science of Well Being and Applied Artificial Intelligence as new subjects in 2025-26.

The board officials release the WB HS exam dates 2026 in online mode. As per the given dates, the West Bengal HS exams are scheduled to be held from February 12 to 27, 2026, in pen-paper mode. The WBCHSE class 12 has three streams including Arts, Science and Commerce. Students in each stream have different subjects and the marking scheme for each subject is different.
