WB HS Result 2024 Released - WBCHSE Class 12 Result Date

WB HS Result 2024: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education has released the West Bengal HS result on May 8, 2024, at 1 pm through a press conference. The direct link to check the results will be activated after 3 pm. Students who appeared for the WBCHSE class 12th exams will be able to download the provisional marksheet by visiting the official websites - wbresults.nic.in, wbchse.wb.gov.in.

As per the released data, as many as 6,79,784 students qualified with a pass percentage of 90 per cent in WB HS exams 2024. The pass percentage for the minority students in WB HS result 2024 is recorded at 86.97 per cent.

WBCHSE has also informed that the mark sheets and pass certificates of students will be available at the distribution centres of the Board across the state. School heads can collect the documents on May 10, 2024 from 10 AM onwards.  It must be noted that the students will receive the hard copies of marksheet from their respective schools. The WBCHSE class 12 exam were successfully conducted from February 16 to February 29, 2024.

WB HS Result 2024 - Highlights

The Board will release the overall result statistics for WB HS Result 2024 in a press conference scheduled to be conducetd on May 8, 2024. Meanwhile, students can read about last year's WBCHSE class 12 result statistics. In 2023, the total pass percentage of WBCHSE class 12 results for boys was recorded to be 91.86 per cent whereas the girls' pass percentage was 87.26 per cent. 

In the top 10 ranks, 18 students belong to the district of Hooghly. Apart from the results, the WBCHSE also released the list of candidates who topped the examination. As per the list released by the exam conducting body, Subharangshu Sardar secured the first spot by scoring 496 or 99.2 per cent marks last year.

WB HS Result 2024 - Steps to Download

Candidates can download the HS result 2024 from the official website, once released. Here are the steps through which candidates can check their results from the official website. 

Step 1: Candidates need to go to the official website, wbchse.wb.gov.in

Step 2: On the homepage, candidates need to find the link that reads ‘WBCHSE Class 12 results’ – click on that 

Step 3: Now, a new page will open which will ask the candidates to enter their roll number and DOB 

Step 4: Once entered, candidates need to click on enter 

Step 5: The WBCHSE class 12 results 2023 will be displayed on the screen. 

Step 6: Download the results and keep a hard copy of it for future use. 

West Bengal Class 12 Result via SMS 

Apart from the facility of checking the results from the official website, candidates can also check the results via SMS. This facility is given to students on the day of the results declaration, the official website of the WBCHSE will experience heavy traffic and as a result, the website will not work properly. Hence, candidates can check the results via sms. Candidates can follow the given steps to check the results via SMS.

Step 2: Go to the message box and type WB12 (Roll number) 

Step 3: Send the message to 5676750 or 58888

Step 4: Candidates will immediately receive their results on the same mobile number
