RBI Assistant Language Proficiency Test
The candidates who will be provisionally shortlisted from the mains online examination will be eligible to appear for the RBI assistant language proficiency test (LPT). The exam conducting body will conduct the LPT in the official/local language of the states. Candidates who are not fluent in the local language will not be qualified for the exam.
The Bank will invite candidates for the Language Proficiency Test based on their performance in the main online examination, with preference given to those who achieve a sufficiently high merit score. The determination of this merit score will be made by the Bank in accordance with the number of vacancies to be filled.

RBI assistant exam 2023 has three phases including prelims, mains and a LPT. Candidates who want to work as an RBI assistant have to qualify for all three phases of the exam.
