Mains Examination

Mains is the second phase where candidates need to obtain an appropriate score so that they can step into another phase of the examination.

Interview

Participating Organizations coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS will conduct interviews for the shortlisted candidates, and as this will be the final round, candidates will be selected on the basis of how they perform in this round.

The exam is conducted in three phases, including Prelims, Mains and an Interview. Consequently, the first phase (Prelims) consists of three sections. Candidates who will qualify for the prelims will further be eligible to sit for the IBPS PO mains exam. The second phase is more elaborated and consists of descriptive and objective-type questions.
