BTech Admission Fees

Plaksha University adjusts its B.Tech program fees according to the financial aid awards so all students can access education at affordable rates. Financial assistance reaches 70% of students at Plaksha University which provides tuition waivers up to 100% covering from 25% to 100% of costs. University students make two annual fee payments in each semester's beginning period. The program fee undergoes periodic adjustments between 5% and 8% annually to reflect changes in market prices. The financial aid interventions at Plaksha University support talented students who might lack resources for their education and help transfer quality education opportunities to students no matter their economic station.

The program fee for Young Technology Scholars is ₹97,500 plus GST.

BTech Admission Process

1. Fill out the online application form.

Admission Guidelines

Each candidate can submit their application only once when the admission cycles begin. Students in Category B along with those without Mathematics need to apply by March 20, 2025. Students should apply early since scholarship opportunities become more likely at this stage. Students should consider their preferred major during application but this selection remains non-committal. After shortlisting candidates for admission they will face an online evaluation with personal interviews and technical assessments. The interview assigns candidates an innovation challenge whose main goal involves finding answers to particular issues. Prospective students must undergo the interview process to access the Financial Aid application. The Admissions Committee maintains absolute authority to make final admission choices.

Young Technology Scholars Admission Process

Program Details

Young Technology Scholars (YTS) operates as a summer residential experience spanning two weeks during the month of May and June 2025 for graduating students in Classes 9 through 12. From May 25 to June 7, 2025 students attended a two-week residential program which included practical experiences and combined curriculum with real engineering scenarios and practical problem-solving. Through YTS students become innovative creators who solve complex problems by using technology to address global issues. Through hands-on projects alongside interactive learning activities students can develop qualifications needed for future leadership positions within science and technology fields under mentor-led guidance.

PhD Admission Process

Preference is given to applicants who have qualified in exams such as CSIR NET-JRF, DBT-JRF, UGC NET-JRF, GATE, IIT-JAM, GRE, etc. These candidates are exempted from the written test and are directly eligible for the interview. Other shortlisted applicants must take a written test based on the NET/GATE syllabus of their respective discipline, after which they will be considered for the interview round.

Plaksha University Courses, Eligibility and Selection Criteria

B.Tech 

Category A: Indian Citizens or Non-Resident Indians (NRI) (holding an Indian passport)
Applicants must be currently enrolled in or have successfully completed Grade 12 under a recognized national or international 10+2 education system. Proficiency in English is required.

Category B: Foreign Nationals, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)
Applicants must have completed or be enrolled in Grade 12 from a board recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). They must provide either an "English as the Medium of Instruction" letter from their school or submit an English proficiency test score.

Young Technology Scholars 

The Eligibility criteria of Young Technology Scholars are for students in Class 9 to Class 12.

PhD

Eligibility Criteria 

• 1-year/2-semester master’s degree (after a 4-year bachelor’s) with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
• 2-year/4-semester master’s degree (after a 3-year bachelor’s) with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
• 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 75% marks or equivalent grade.
• MPhil degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
• Equivalent qualifications recognized by statutory regulatory bodies or accredited foreign institutions.

Selection Criteria: CSIR NET-JRF/ DBT-JRF/ UGC NET-JRF/ GATE/ IIT-JAM/GRE or Written Test + Interviews.
