North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) is a government university located in Shillong, Meghalaya offering a diverse range of courses in UG, PG and PhD programmes in its main campus and affiliated colleges. The admission process for the NEHU usually begins in the month of may or june every year in online mode. General courses such as BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, BCA are offered through various affiliated colleges, whereas  professional courses such as BArch, BTech, and BALLB are offered within the main campuses of the university.

NEHU M.Tech Admission 2024

Candidates are required to fill an online application form available on the official website of the university followed by mandatory appearing in GATE or NEHU entrance test.

NEHU PhD Admission 2024

Admission to a PhD program in NEHU comprises students appearing for an entrance test followed by a personal interview round by the university. Full-time Ph.D. program of three years in regular mode is offered by the university with specialisations in 18 different subjects in the Ph.D. program, namely English, Hindi, History, Economics, Political Science, Commerce, Education, etc. A candidate should hold a master degree in a relevant field to get admission in Phd programmes offered by the university.
