National Law University Odisha (NLUO): National Law University Odisha, situated in Cuttack was founded in 2009 under the National Law University Orissa Act, 2008. NLUO is recognized by NAAC and the UGC (University Grants Commission). All the courses offered by NLUO are recognized by the Bar Council of India.

The Recruitment Coordination Committee (RCC) is a student-led placement body of the National Law University Odisha (NLUO), Cuttack. The RCC, National Law University was established with the motive of acting as a liaison between representatives of various organizations in the legal industry and the students of the batch for recruitment. The Committee also comes up with initiatives and practices like Mock Interview Series, skill-training sessions and workshops, mentorship sessions, resource materials, networking opportunities, and many more to nurture its relationship with the various stakeholders.

NLUO Scholarships 2025

National Law University Odisha offers financial assistance to students through its scholarship program. NLUO offers two types of scholarships. 

1. Scholarship based on merit
2. Scholarship based on income

The merit scholarship is determined by the CLAT score in the first year and the annual score in the subsequent years. Although the income-based scholarship is offered based on the family income of the student, to avail income-based scholarship offered by NLUO students family income should not exceed INR 5 LPA. 

The total amount of the scholarship is not more than INR 1 LPA. The university sets certain criteria for registration and selection of students for above-mentioned scholarships:

• The students annual family income should not exceed INR 5 LPA.
• Students should have a minimum 60% score in the qualifying exam.
• Existing students should have a GPA of a minimum of 5.0 or more.

Apart from these two mentioned scholarships NLUO students can avail the benefits of other central and state government financial assistance through scholarships.
