Cochin University of Science and Technology is an ‘A+’ graded government-owned autonomous university in Kochi, Kerala which was established in the year 1971. It is ranked #37 as per the NIRF Ranking 2023. The university promotes graduate and master's studies and research in science, technology, commerce, management, and arts.

CUSAT offers several courses in technology, management, social science, law, and arts field. The university has a greater focus on post-graduate courses, additionally, it also offers several diploma courses for skill-oriented exposure which include diplomas in, English, German, French English, and many more. Technical courses include, BTech, MTech, M.Sc, and MCA, additionally, CUSAT also offers courses in law, management, marine education, and arts. The technical courses will be based on the marks obtained in the GATE/DAT exam. Above all, admission to all courses has a basic requirement of completion of 10+2 or bachelors as per the level of the course.

CUSAT offers good placement opportunities to its students especially from engineering and management backgrounds. The highest package that the management students and engineering students got was INR 12 and 80 LPA respectively. Some of the top recruiters who visit the CUSAT campus every day include IBM, TCS, EY, Infosys, Cisco, Microsoft, etc.
