TNPSC Group 1 Exam 2025: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released the TNPSC Group 1 main examination admit card on November 21, 2025, at tnpsc.gov.in. The TNPSC Group 1 Mains exam will be held from December 1 to December 4, 2025. A total of 70 vacancies have been announced under Notification number 04/2025 on April 4, 2025. The TNPSC Group 1 preliminary examination was held on June 15, 2025.
The commission had released the notification for the TNPSC Group 1 services exam on its official website under Notification number 04/2025. These vacancies include job posts such as Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Assistant Commissioner, Assistant Director of Rural Development, Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies, District Officer, and District Employment Officer.

TNPSC Group 1 Vacancies 2025
The commission has tentatively announced a total of 70 vacancies for Group A services. Candidates can check the post-wise breakdown for the vacancies released for the 2025 cycle below.
The number of vacancies notified is tentative and is liable for modification until the publication of the results of the main examination. Whenever the vacancies are revised, the number of candidates selected for the successive stages will also be revised commensurately.

TNPSC Group 1 Medical & Physical Requirements
- Candidates are required to provide a medical certificate of physical fitness at the time of joining.
- Except for Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Taxes) and Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies, candidates are required to have visual ability of Standard III. Candidates with defective vision must provide a certificate of eye fitness from an eye specialist at the time of joining.
TNPSC Group 1 Language Requirements
Candidates applying for TNPSC Group 1 services must have adequate knowledge of the Tamil language while applying for the exam. Candidates will be considered for having adequate Tamil knowledge only if they have passed the Tamil Nadu SSLC/HSC/degree examination or any other equivalent qualification.

TNPSC Group 1 Admit Card 2025
The TNPSC Group 1 admit card is released a few days before the examination commences. Candidates will be able to download their hall tickets by visiting the official website of TNPSC. Candidates appearing for the preliminary or main examination must remember that TNPSC will not send the admit card by post. The hall tickets will only be made available online at tnpsc.gov.in. Candidates are required to download their hall ticket using their login credentials.
TNPSC Group 1 Result 2025
The result for the TNPSC Group 1 exam is announced once the examination is concluded. Candidates who qualify in TNPSC group 1 prelims will be eligible for appearing in the TNPSC group 1 mains examination.
Candidates who qualify in the mains will move on to the interview round. The final result for TNPSC Group 1 exam will be announced once the interview round is concluded. Candidates will then be appointed for posts in the TNPSC Group 1 services.
