Once released, candidates will be able to download the exam notification by visiting tnpsc.gov.in. These vacancies include job posts such as Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Assistant Commissioner, Assistant Director of Rural Development, Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies, District Officer, District Employment Officer.

- The Commission has issued the TNPSC group 1 exam notification on April 1, 2025. The application window for TNPSC group 1 exam will remain open till April 30, 2025.
- The TNPSC group 1 preliminary exam will be conducted on June 15, 2025 in offline/pen and paper mode.
- TNPSC group 1 application form will be released along with the exam notification soon at tnpsc.gov.in.
To be eligible for these job posts, candidates are required to appear for TNPSC Group 1 prelims and mains exams. Only the candidates who have successfully registered for the examination will be eligible to download their TNPSC group 1 admit card, once released.

TNPSC Group 1 Medical & Physical Requirements
- Candidates are required to provide a medical certificate of physical fitness at the time of joining.
- Except for Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Taxes) and Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies, candidates are required to have visual ability of Standard III. Candidates with defective vision must provide a certificate of eye fitness from an eye specialist at the time of joining.
TNPSC Group 1 Language Requirements
Candidates applying for TNPSC group 1 services must have an adequate knowledge of the Tamil language while applying for the exam. Candidates will be considered for having adequate Tamil knowledge only if they have passed the Tamil Nadu SSLC/HSC/degree examination or any other equivalent qualification.

TNPSC Group 1 Admit Card 2025
The TNPSC Group 1 admit card is released a few days before the examination commences. Candidates will be able to download their hall tickets by visiting the official website of TNPSC. Candidates appearing for preliminary or main examination must remember that TNPSC will not send the admit card by post. The hall tickets will only be made available online at tnpsc.gov.in. Candidates are required to download their hall ticket using their login credentials.
TNPSC Group 1 Result 2025
The result for TNPSC group 1 exam is announced once the examination is concluded. Candidates who qualify in TNPSC group 1 prelims will be eligible for appearing in the TNPSC group 1 mains examination.
Candidates who qualify in the mains will move for an interview. The final result for TNPSC group 1 exam will be announced once the interview round is concluded. Candidates will then be appointed for posts in TNPSC Group 1 services.
