CGPSC Cut Off 2024: Category Wise Cutoff for Prelims, Mains

CGPSC Cut Off 2024: The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission releases the cutoff for CGPSC on the official website. The cutoff is released along with the declaration of result. The final CGPSC cutoff is prepared by considering the marks of the CGPSC mains exam and interview round. Since there are three stages of examination including prelims, mains and interview, the results for all three stages will be released separately. 

The CGPSC cutoff refers to the minimum score which is required by a candidate in order to qualify for the next round of the examination. The cutoff score is provided in the same PDF for CGPSC result for each round. The cutoff is prepared based on the number of candidates taking the exam, its difficulty level, and the overall number of vacancies available. The cutoff also depends on the category the candidate belongs to. 

CGPSC Cut Off 2024: Highlights

The CGPSC cutoff is released separately for Prelims, Mains and Interview. Candidates can expect the final result and cut off for CGPSC SSE mains to be released soon. Meanwhile, candidates who belong to the general category are required to score 33% in each stage, whereas the candidates belonging to the reserved category are required to score 23% to qualify in the examination. The cutoff for CGPSC will be released on the official website in the form of a PDF.

After conducting the exam for each stage, the CGPSC will release the results and cutoff. The commission will release the cutoff separately for each stage. Here is how candidates will be able to check the CGPSC cutoff:

Step 1: Go to the official website of CGPSC - cgpsc.gov.in

Step 2: On the homepage, candidates will find the result section -- click on it 

Step 3: Now, under the results section candidates need to find the CGPSC cut-off for the post for which the aspirant has appeared for the examination

Step 4: Candidates need to click on the given link 

Step 5: A PDF will open in front of the screen 

Step 6: Download the cut and check the details

NOTE: Candidates can download the cut-off and keep the printout for future use. Further candidates must note that the cut-off is different for aspirants belonging to different categories.

CGPSC Final Cut Off 2024

Once the exam conducting body releases the cut-off for the prelims stage, aspirants will be able to appear for the CGPSC mains exam. After qualifying for the CGPSC mains stage, candidates will be able to appear for the interview stage. Finally, after the successful conduction of the interview, the exam conducting body will release a final cut-off. 

The applicants' scores in the main exam and interview will be used to determine the final cut-off. Once the final selection has been done, candidates who have applied for their respective posts will get recruited.
