EPFO SSA 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Aspiring students must fulfil the EPFO SSA eligibility criteria to apply for the exam. Interested candidates can check the eligibility criteria below:

• Educational Qualification: In order to apply for the EPFO SSA Recruitment 2024 exam, students must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institution and a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer. 

• Age Limit: Candidates should be between the age group of 18-27 in order to be eligible for the EPFO SSA exam.

EPFO SSA Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

Candidates who wish to be recruited as Social Security Assistants (SSA) in EPFO have to go through two stages. The first stage is the Computer-Based Test (CBT) and the second stage is the Typing Test. It must be noted that the typing test is qualifying in nature and its result will not be considered for the final merit list. However, participating students must pass the typing test.

EPFO SSA Recruitment 2024: Skill Test

Students who clear the written test will be called for the Skill Test. Candidates will be judged on the basis of their typing speed and accuracy. The EPFO SSA Skill Test requirements are discussed below:

• Typing Speed of English: 35 Words Per Minute
• Typing Speed of Hindi: 30 Words Per Minute
• Key Depressions (English): 10500 Key Depression Per Hour
• Key Depressions (Hindi): 9000 Key Depression Per Hour

EPFO SSA 2024: Salary 

Candidates who are selected for the Social Security Assistant receive a Level-5 salary as per the 7th pay commission. Along with the salary, they also receive various perks like House Rent Allowance (HRA), Travel Allowance (TA), Dearness Allowance (DA), and many other benefits. The initial salary for EPFO SSA remains around INR 29,200/-.
