The Union Public Service Commission has released the UPSC EPFO admit card on its official website. Candidates who registered successfully for the exam can download their admit cards using their registration number and date of birth. The EPFO exam 2023 is scheduled to be conducted on July 02, 2023. Meanwhile, candidates can check the UPSC EPFO exam pattern and syllabus to get an idea of the questions asked in the examination and overall exam structure.

UPSC EPFO Exam 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the EPFO exam to recruit candidates for the post of Enforcement Officer/Account Officer. UPSC will conduct the EPFO exam 2023 on July 02, 2023. The commission released the EPFO notification on February 21, 2023, on its official website containing the details like eligibility criteria, exam pattern, syllabus, and exam centres. The EPFO application form was also released along with the notification with a deadline to apply till March 17, 2023. UPSC EPFO Eligibility Criteria

Candidates preparing for the exam must fulfil the EPFO eligibility criteria in order to take the exam. Aspirants failing to fulfil the eligibility requirements will be barred from the exam process at any stage. The eligibility criteria for the EPFO exam is divided into three categories: Nationality, Age Limit, and Educational Qualification.

Nationality

A Candidate must be either:

  • a citizen of India, or
  • a subject of Nepal, or
  • a subject of Bhutan, or
  • a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January 01, 1962, to permanently settle in India, or
  • a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam intending to permanently settle in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Note: The Commission may take into account the application of a candidate for whom a certificate of eligibility is necessary. If the applicant is recommended for appointment, that person may also be given a provisional appointment pending the Government of India's issuance of the necessary certificate.

Minimum Essential Qualification

It is required that candidates hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or institution in any discipline.

Minimum Desirable Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law/Five year Integrated degree in law

EPFO Selection Process

There are two stages to the UPSC EPFO Selection Process for the AO/EO recruitment exam. You must pass both of the following stages in order to be qualified to work as an enforcement officer for UPSC EPFO, Ministry of Labour and Employment:

EPFO Cutoff 2023

When the selection process is done, the Union Public Service Commission publishes the EPFO cutoff.
