SSC CPO 2025: Application Deadline, Exam Date, Admit Card, Paper Pattern & Eligibility Criteria

SSC CPO Exam 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is set to close the SSC CPO application form submission window today, October 16. Candidates can pay the application fee until October 17, 2025. The option to make corrections in the application form will be open from October 24 to 26, 2025. The application process began on September 26, 2025. The SSC CPO exam has a total of 3,073 vacancies available. Applications for the exam will be accepted exclusively online.

SSC CPO exam is conducted for the recruitment of candidates for the posts of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police, CISF, CAPF, BSF, and SSB. Candidates wishing to be recruited through SSC CPO have to take Paper 1, Paper 2, and Physical Tests. The final merit list is created on the basis of the performance of candidates in all three tests. The Paper 1 & Paper 2 exam of SSC CPO is conducted online in Computer-Based Test mode. As per the SSC CPO exam pattern, both papers consist of 200 questions with each question carrying 1 mark. There is also a negative marking of 0.25 marks.

The SSC CPO exam dates released on the official website at the official website (ssc.gov.in). The exam is scheduled to be conducted in November-December, 2025. Candidates who want to appear in the SSC CPO exam must check the below steps to register or fill the application form; 

• Visit the official website of SSC - ssc.gov.in. 
• Click on the “New Registration” option given in the homepage. 
• Login in with login credentials. 
• Click on the “Submit” Button. 
• Click on the Application form. 
• Enter all the required details such as - Educational and Personal details. 
• Upload all the scanned documents. 
• Before submitting the application form, check all the details carefully. 
• After submitting details, candidates will have to pay the required amount of fees. 

SSC CPO Admit Card 2025

SSC CPO admit card will be released a few days before the examination on the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Candidates will be able to download their admit cards from the official regional website of SSC as well. To download the admit card, candidates need a date of birth and registration number. The steps to download the admit card are as follows:

• Visit the official regional website of SSC
• Click on the SSC CPO Admit Card link available on the homepage
• Enter required details like date of birth and registration number
• Submit the details
• Upon successful submission of details, the admit card will appear on the screen
• Download and save the admit card
• Take a printout of the admit card
