ITBP answer key has been released on the official website of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force. The answer key was released on September 15, 2023. Candidates who appeared for the ITBP Constable exam can download the answer key and raise challenges if they do not feel satisfied with it. Students who pass the ITBP recruitment exam for the position of Constable will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). 

A total of 425 ITBP vacancies were released this year for recruitment of Constable, Head Constable, and Ministerial. In order to be eligible for the ITBP exam, students must possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institution. For a post of Constable, 10th pass students are also eligible. Also, the age limit of the candidate for the ITBP recruitment exam is 20-25 years. Students from the reserved category also receive an age relaxation as per the rules and regulations of the Government.

Candidates should be physically fit in order to get recruited in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force. The ITBP recruitment selection process includes the physical examination apart from the written test.

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF) conducts the ITBP exam every year for various positions. Aspiring students must fulfil the ITBP eligibility criteria in order to apply for the exam. The eligibility criteria for the same is as follows:

  • Candidates must have passed Class 10 for the post of Constable. The eligibility may vary according to the post candidate is applying for.

Here are the physical standard requirements for ITBP Recruitment:

  • Eyesight: The requirement for the better eye is 6/6 or 6/9, and for the worse eye, it’s 6/12 or 6/9.
  • Speech: Candidates should not stammer.
  • Neck: Any neck swelling can deem you disqualified. No vertebral diseases are permitted.
  • Diseases (Venereal): No venereal disease is permitted.
  • Diseases (Chronic): No chronic skin disease is permitted.
  • Ear: No hearing disorder or deafness is permitted.

ITBP Recruitment 2023: Physical Efficiency Test

Students who pass the written test will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test. They are asked to do certain activities in order to pass the physical exam test. Interested students can check the parameters for PET in the table below:

  • 1.6 Kms Running: This needs to be completed within 7:30 mins.
  • Long Jump: The requirement is 11 Feet and candidates get 3 attempts to achieve this.
  • High Jump: The requirement is 3.5 Feet and candidates get 3 attempts to achieve this.
