As per the AP Police SI exam pattern, the selection process is divided primarily into three phases: Prelims, PET/PST, and Mains. After the conclusion of the mains round, the body conducts the medical test for selected candidates following which the Personality Test and Document Verification process is conducted.

AP Police SI Prelims & Mains exam includes questions from Arithmetic & General Reasoning (Both Prelims & Mains), General Studies (Both Prelims & Mains), English Language (only Mains), and Telugu Language (only Mains).
