Established in 2001, the Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology (ASIET) is situated in Kalady. Operated by the Adi Sankara Trust, the institute is affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) and holds approval from the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and KTU Research Centre. ASIET comprises 10 departments providing a comprehensive range of 18 courses in UG, PG, and PhD levels, spanning three streams.
