Tamil Nadu 12th Exam Dates 2026: The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) conducts the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (HSE) for second year students annually in offline or pen-paper format. The TN HSE + 2 exams 2026 will be conducted from March 2 to 26, 2026. Students can check the official exam time table on the website for DGE, dge.tn.gov.in. 

As per official board notice, TN HSE +2 Practical exam 2026 will be conducted from February 9 to 14, 2026. The Tamil Nadu Board results for HSE +2 will be declared on May 8, 2026.

The admit card for TN HSE plus two public exams is released in online mode. Students must remember that the admit card will be issued to them by their school authorities. Students don’t have to download the admit card on their own. However, private students will have to download the hall ticket themselves.

Tamil Nadu HSE +2 Result 2026

The result for Tamil Nadu class 12th board exam is released a few weeks after the exam is concluded. This year, the TN HSE result for second year students are expected to be declared in May 2026 in online mode.  Students will be able to check and download the scorecards from the official website - dge.tn.gov.in, using their login credentials. The login credentials include roll number, date of birth, and captcha code. Last year, the TN Board class 12  result was declared on May 8, 2025 at 9:15 AM. in 2024, the DGE, TN announced the results on May 6. 

Last year, the TN HSE +2 exam commenced on March 3, 2025, with over eight lakh students appearing in it from across 3,316 examination centres across the state. As per the given schedule, the annual board exams were conducted till March 25, 2025. However, the Tamil Nadu Board class 12th practical exam 2025 were held from February 7 to 14, 2025.
