Tamil Nadu 12th Result 2026: The Tamil Nadu board will conduct the TN HSE Plus Two exam in March and the +2 result is expected on May 8. Students who appeared for the board exams would be able to check and download the TN 12th provisional marksheets through the official website - dge.tn.gov.in, tnresults.nic.in. The Tamil Nadu Plus Two public exams for 2026 commenced on Monday with over 8.27 lakh students appearing for the board exam. Among the students, 7.99 lakh are regular candidates while 27,783 are private students. The +2 exams will be held from 3,412 centres, an official informed PTI.

The TN HSE exams will be held till March 26 and the results are expected to be announced on May 8. State Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi inspected an examination centre in T-Nagar. AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami said, "This is the time to reap the fruits of your hard work. Face the exam without any tension, with confidence, and succeed." 

Last year, TNDGE had released the results on May 8 for around 8.2 lakh students. The overall pass percentage for TN HSE +2 exams last year was 95.03%.

Once the TN HSE +2 results are out, TNDGE conducts +2 Supplementary exams in June-July. Last year, TN exams were conducted from June 25 to July 2, 2025. The board released the Tamil Nadu class 12 supply results on July 25 afternoon in online mode. Students who appeared for the compartment exams can check their results on the official website of the board - dge.tn.gov.in, tnresults.nic.in. They need to enter their roll number and date of birth in the designated spaces. 

The Directorate of Government Examination, Tamil Nadu (DGE) releases the results for the Tamil Nadu 12th Board exam every year in the online mode. The TN 12th results are released in the form of a marksheet at tnresults.nic.in. Students can download their results by logging into the online portal using their login details such as registration number and date of birth.
