BSE Odisha Class 10 Exam Syllabus 2024: The BSE Odisha class 10 syllabus is released by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha. The syllabus is released in PDF format on the official website of the board making it easy for the students to download the curriculum. Studying the syllabus thoroughly is the first step for candidates while they are preparing for the exam. Candidates must know that the syllabus is similar to what it was last year and no changes have been made. If in case the syllabus is changed for the next session, then the candidates are informed through the official website.
The BSE Odisha class 10 exam has seven subjects including Mother tongue (Odia, Bangla, Urdu), Second Indian Language, English, Maths, Science, Social Science and Sanskrit. Students should note that the BSE Odisha class 10 exam is divided into two assessments - SA I and SA II. While the SA I was conducted in November 2022, Term II was conducted on March 10, 2024, till March 20, 2024.
Since the exam has seven subjects, the syllabus for all subjects is different. Candidates can take a look at the subject-wise syllabus from the official webiste. Also, candidates must be aware that as per the break-up of the syllabus for four quarters, the course for HSC and Madhyama will remain for the year 2024-24. While the internal assessment has 20% weightage, SA I and SA II have 40 % weightage respectively.
