GSEB HSC Result 2025: Gujarat Board 12th General and Science Result, Supplementary Exam

GSEB 12th Results 2025: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Board (GSEB) will declare the GSEB HSC results after the successful completion of the board exams, tentatively in May 2025. The result dates will be notified by the Gujarat board through an official notification. Once released, students will be able to download their mark sheets by visiting gseb.org. Students need to enter their seat number in the result login window to check their scores.

 The GSEB HSC results are released in the form of a scorecard containing essential information such as students' personal details, marks obtained in each subject (theory and practical), passing status, etc. The marksheet downloaded from the official website will be provisional in nature. As per the examination schedule, the GSEB HSC exams 2025 will be conducted from February 27 to March 13, 2025. Students will receive their final mark sheets from their respective schools. Students need to score at minimum of 33% in the GSEB HSC examination to qualify.

Last year, the board released the GSEB 12th results for General and Science streams on May 9, 2024. Nearly 12 lakh students appeared for Gujarat Board exams conducted at various exam centres across the state. The Gujarat board 12th exams concluded on March 26, 2024 in the previous academic session.

• GSEB declared the GSEB HSC supplementary result on July 29, 2024, in online mode at 12 noon. Students can check their scores by entering their seat number in the login window at gseb.org.

The GSEB HSC result 2025 can be downloaded by students from the official website of GSEB. Students need their seat numbers to access their results online. They can follow the steps given below to download their results :

Step 2: Click on the Results Tab, and go to HSC Results

Step 3: Enter the seat number and click on go

Step 4: Download and save the provisional mark sheet displayed on screen

GSEB HSC Science Stream Result 2025 - Previous Years' Statistics

Gujarat board releases the statistics for GSEB 12th exams along with the results. Students can check last year's statistics for Science stream below.

• Number of students appeared – 1,11,132
• Number of students passed – 91,625
• Students in Group A – 90.11 per cent
• Students in Group B – 78.34 per cent
• Overall pass percentage in Group A and B combined – 68.42 per cent

In 2023, the pass percentage for GSEB 12th General Stream examination stood at 73.27%.  Whereas in the GSEB HSC Science stream 2022 exam, 1,06,347 appeared for the examination, out of which 68,681 passed the examination. A pass percentage of 72% was recorded for boys in the GSEB HSC Science examination, whereas the pass percentage for girls was 72.05%. 

Candidates who fail to secure the minimum passing marks of 33% can appear in the supplementary examinations which provides students with a second chance to clear the examinations. There is a separate application form to be filled out and an application fee to be paid to appear in the supplementary exams.

GSEB HSC Result 2025 Re-evaluation

The re-evaluation forms will be tentatively released in May 2025 after the GSEB HSC results are declared. Students who are dissatisfied with their results have the option of applying for re-evaluation online on the GSEB website. After the result is re-checked, candidates can download the revised results from the GSEB official website in PDF format including student's name, roll number, and changed marks.

GSEB 12th Supplementary Result 2025

GSEB 12th supplementary exams are expected to be conducted in June/July 2025. The official dates will be notified by the Gujarat board online. Students who appear for the compartment examination can check their result and download the marksheet using their roll number and other credentials.
