GSEB HSC Result 2024 Released: Gujarat Board 12th General and Science Result

GSEB 12th Results 2024: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Board (GSEB) has declared the results of GSEB HSC result 2024 on May 9, 2024, in online mode at 9 am. Students can check their scores by entering their seat number in the login window at gseb.org.

This year, nearly 12 lakh students appeared for Gujarat Board exams conducted at various exam centres. Students need to score at minimum of 33% in the GSEB HSC examination to qualify. As per the examination schedule, the GSEB HSC exam 2024  concluded on March 26, 2024.

Students can download their provisional marksheets from the official result portal, once available. It must be noted that the original/final marksheets will be dispatched by the Board to respective schools. Students can obtain their final marksheets from school premises after the results are declared.

The GSEB HSC result 2024 can be downloaded by students from the official website of GSEB. Students need their seat numbers to access their results online. They can follow the steps given below to download their results :

Step 1: Visit the official website of GSEB - gseb.org

Step 2: Click on the Results Tab, and go to HSC Results

Step 3: Enter the seat number and click on go

Step 4: Download and save the provisional mark sheet displayed on screen

GSEB HSC Result Previous Years' Statistics

In 2023, the pass percentage for GSEB 12th General Stream examination was stood at 73.27%.  Whereas in the GSEB HSC Science stream 2022 exam, 1,06,347 appeared for the examination, out of which 68,681 passed the examination. A pass percentage of 72% was recorded for boys in the GSEB HSC Science examination, whereas the pass percentage for girls was 72.05%. 

In the previous year, the overall pass percentage for GSEB HSC Science stream was 72.02% and the pass percentage for HSC General stream was 86.91%. In the 12th board General stream, a total of 3,35,145 students appeared for the HSC General examination, out of which 2,91,287 cleared the examination. For girls, the pass percentage in HSC General exams was 89.23% and for boys, a pass percentage of 84.67% was recorded.

Candidates who fail to secure the minimum passing marks of 33% can re-appear in the supplementary examinations which provides students with a second chance to clear the examinations. There is a separate application form to be filled out and an application fee to be paid to appear in the supplementary exams.

GSEB HSC Result 2024 Re-evaluation

The re-evaluation forms will be tentatively released in May 2024 after the GSEB HSC results are declared. Students who are dissatisfied with their results have the option of applying for result re-evaluation online on the GSEB website. After the result is re-checked, candidates can download the revised results from the GSEB official website in PDF format including student's name, roll number, and changed marks.
