TNSTC Recruitment 2023: Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) has released the TNSTC Apprentice 2023 notification for 417 vacancies. Eligible candidates can apply for the TNSTC apprentice posts by October 10, 2023. The application process began on September 11, 2023. Before applying for the TNSTC Apprentice posts, candidates must ensure that they meet the prescribed eligibility criteria.
The recruitment notification has been released for different types of Apprentice posts which include Graduate Apprentices (Engineering/Technology), Technician (Diploma) Apprentices, and Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices. It must be noted that candidates who have already completed or are currently completing an apprenticeship under the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973 or have one year or more of experience in the field are not eligible to apply for the post of TNSTC Apprentice.
The selection process for TNSTC Apprentice Recruitment 2023 includes shortlisting of candidates based on their basic prescribed qualification percentage marks followed by Certificate verification for shortlisted candidates.
Selected candidates will be required to undergo a training period of 1 year. The selected candidates will also be receiving a monthly stipend of INR 8000/- (for Diploma Technician Apprentices) & INR 9,000/- (for Graduate Apprentices).

- graduate exam of professional bodies recognised by the state/ central government as equivalent to the above-mentioned qualifications

Eligible candidates can apply for the post of TNSTC Apprentice by following the below-mentioned procedure.
Candidates who have already created an account and have their login credentials for the National Web Portal can apply online for TNSTC Apprentice posts in the following way:
- Sign in to the account
- Select the "Establishments" tab
- Click "Find Establishment"
- Upload resume
- Choose the name of the establishment
- Type the name of the region & search
- Click on the “apply” tab
Candidates who have not yet enrolled in the National Web Portal can apply online for TNSTC Apprentice posts by visiting the BoAT (SR) website. On the homepage, candidates can find the TNSTC Apprentice 2023 application link under the "News & Events" section.
TNSTC Recruitment 2023: Selection Process
The selection process for the various TNSTC Apprentice posts is as follows:
- The Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR) is responsible for shortlisting candidates from online applications based on their basic prescribed qualification percentage marks
- Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email and must appear for certificate verification at the Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) Training Centre in Chrompet, Chennai
