IOCL 2025 Exam Date : Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) is one of India’s leading energy majors with presence across streams of Oil, Gas, Petrochemicals and Alternative Energy sources. IOCL 2025 will announce the IOCL Recruitment in the month of June (tentative) through GATE 2025 results on their official website, iocl.com. Candidates who appeared for the GATE 2025 and wish to join IOCL as Graduate Apprentice Engineers can apply directly using their GATE Scores. The Graduate Aptitude in Engineering (GATE) Exam is a gateway for students who seek admission to postgraduate and PhD programs in Engineering. It will tentatively take place in February, 2025. Candidates who satisfy the GATE Eligibility Criteria can participate in the IOCL recruitment process.

IOCL 2025 Recruitment : Eligibility Criteria

IOCL 2025 has set certain criteria like education qualification and age limit criteria that must be fulfilled to apply for the IOCL recruitment process. Candidates can check below for a brief overview of the IOCL Eligibility criteria.

Nationality 

Candidates who are Indian Nationals can apply. 

Eligible Disciplines

• Only those can participate in the recruitment process who have appeared for and qualified in the GATE exam from one of the following disciplines. Check for disciplines and their GATE Exam Codes.

Education Qualification & Degree

Candidates who possess or are currently pursuing a BE/B.Tech or an equivalent qualification from an institution recognized by AICTE/UGC in the following disciplines are eligible to participate in the IOCL recruitment process through GATE 2025. 

Minimum Marks in Qualifying Degree 

Candidates seeking the position of Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAEs) must secure a minimum percentage of marks in their degree qualification. Candidates can refer to the table below for a category-wise breakdown of the minimum qualifying marks. 

Upper Age Limit  

The age limit criteria varies for candidates based on their category. Aspirants applying from General/EWS category should not be more than 26 years. Candidates belonging to all categories can refer to the following age criteria. 

IOCL Recruitment through GATE 2025: Selection Process

The IOCL Selection Process consists of the following three components:

• Candidate’s Marks in GATE Exam 2025  
• Group Discussion (GD) and Group Task (GT)
• Personal Interview (PI)

Candidates are shortlisted for the IOCL Recruitment through their GATE Score 2025. Those fulfilling the eligibility criteria can proceed to the GD, GT and PI. It's important to remember that merely qualifying in the GATE Exam 2025 does not guarantee shortlisting for the GD, GT and the PI. After the completion of the selection process, IOCL publishes a merit list of those candidates who qualify for the IOCL recruitment through GATE 2025. 

IOCL Recruitment 2025: Steps to Apply 

Aspirants seeking to join the IOCL as Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAEs) can apply for the recruitment online at iocl.com. There is no application fee for appearing in the selection process but candidates must register their email/phone number on the online portal before applying. Here are the steps a candidate should follow to complete the application process. 

• Visit iocl.com and login into the application portal with the registered email/phone number. 
• Fill personal and GATE 2025 details such as date of birth, GATE Registration number, Discipline and the marks obtained. 
• After the entered data is verified with the GATE database, candidates can proceed. Next, the portal will capture the candidate’s Live photo.
• Candidates must also upload a recent photograph and complete the registration form by reading and accepting all the terms and conditions. 
• Download the online application form in a pdf format and save it for future reference. 

IOCL Recruitment 2025: Documents required

As IOCL does not ask for documents at the registration stage, only shortlisted candidates will be asked to produce relevant and valid documents at the time of Group Discussion, Group Task and Personal Interview. The candidate’s candidature is provisional until the cross checking of relevant certificates/testimonials, medical fitness etc. 

In case a candidate is availing relaxation/reservation of any kind, they should have supporting documents in their original and latest form. If they fail to submit these documents or the documents do not pass the verification process, the candidate will not be allowed to participate further in the selection process.
