NEET UG Admit Card 2024 (OUT): Download Link, Details Mentioned & Exam Day Guidelines

NEET UG Admit Card 2024: National Testing Agency has released the admit card for NEET UG exam 2024. The hall tickets for NEET UG are released on the official website. Registered candidates have to visit the official website to download the admit card by using their credentials. 

Before the release of the hall tickets, the NTA also released an advance intimation to the exam city which will consist of information about the the exam city centre. The city intimation was released on April 24, 2024. Only the candidates who submit their NEET UG application form will be eligible to download their admit card and NEET city intimation slip from the official website. As per the exam notification, NEET UG 2024 is scheduled to be held on May, 5, 2024. 

NEET Admit Card 2024

The NEET UG admit card is will be released on the official website. Candidates appearing for the exam are required to carry a hard copy of their NEET UG hall tickets on the day of exam. The NEET admit card is made available online, allowing candidates to conveniently obtain it from the official NTA NEET website. Upon receiving the admit card, candidates should check all the information mentioned in it. 

If any inaccuracies are found, candidates are required to notify the NTA authorities before the examination. In addition to the admit card, candidates are required to bring along another valid ID proof and two passport-size photographs for attaching to both the NTA NEET 2024 admit card and the attendance sheet.

NEET Admit Card 2024: Steps to Download

The NEET UG hall tickets are released online on the official website of the NTA. Students will be able to download the hall ticket by following these simple steps:

Step 1: Candidates need to visit the official website of NEET UG

Step 2: On the official website, candidates will find the link that reads 'NEET 2024 admit card' -- click on the link 

Step 3: Now, candidates need to fill in the information regarding their latest health and travel updates  

Step 4: Candidates need to click on the link which reads ‘NEET 2024 Admit Card Download’

Step 5: Candidates have to log in with the given application number and Password along with the Security Pin

Step 6: NEET 2024 admit card will be displayed on your screen. 

NOTE: Download the hall ticket and keep a printout for future use.

NEET Admit Card 2024 on UMANG, DigiLocker

Candidates must know that the NEET admit card 2024 is also available for students on platforms such as UMANG and DigiLocker. Apart from admit card, NTA also releases NEET scorecards on the same platforms. In order to download the NEET admit card 2024 from these platforms, candidates have to login and search for NEET admit card 2024. 

Details Mentioned on Hall Tickets 

The NEET 2024 hall ticket consists of important details about the candidate. The information given on the admit card about the candidate should match the ID proof of the candidate on the day of the examination. If in case, the information does not match, then the candidate will not be allowed to sit in the examination. Hence, candidates should thoroughly check the information given on the admit card. 

According to the NEET UG admit card 2024, the following information can be found:

• Name of the candidate
• NEET 2024 roll number
• NEET registration number
• Date and time of the examination
• Father’s name
• Mother’s name
• Date of birth
• Gender
• Category/ Sub-category
• Address
• Medium (Language) of the examination

The NEET 2024 admit card had to be brought to the examination centre.  It should be noted that the NEET hall ticket for 2024 will only be available for download online and will not be sent to anyone by post.

In order to retrieve the registration number, candidates are required to follow these simple four steps:

Step 2: On the homage, students will find the link that 'Forgot Registration Number' -- Click on that 

Step 3: Now, candidates need to enter the following details including - Name, mother’s name, father’s name, category, date of birth, and security pin

Step 4: The registration number will be displayed on the screen

NEET UG Exam Day Guidelines 2024

The NEET UG admit card carries all the important guidelines required to be followed by the candidate. Here are some of the important do's and don'ts for NEET UG aspirants on the day of the examination:

Important Instructions to Follow at Exam Centre 

There are a bunch of important instructions given on the admit card that candidates are required to follow. Take a look at the list of instructions here: 

• Candidates are required to take a coloured printout of the NEET 2024 admit card
• Apart from the admit card, candidates should affix a passport-size photograph in the space provided, and the photo should be similar to the one submitted with the application form for NEET 2024.
• Candidates must note their admit card must be signed by their parent or guardian. 

Documents to Carry Inside Exam Hall

Apart from admit card, candidates are required to carry the following documents and also some COVID-19 precautionary items to the exam centre:

• Candidate should carry a passport-size photo, and the photo should be the same as the one uploaded with the application form 
• A valid photo ID is important for candidates to carry, which may include - an Aadhaar card/ Driving Licence/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Voter Id
• COVID-19 precautionary items should also be carried to the examination centre. These items include - a face mask, hand gloves, and a 50 ml bottle of hand sanitiser 
• Candidates are allowed to carry water but in a transparent water bottle 

NEET Exam Dress Code

• As per NEET exam guidelines, "Heavy clothes and/or long sleeves are not permitted. However, in case, candidates come in
  cultural/ customary dress at the Examination Centre, they should report at least an hour
  before the last reporting time i.e. 12.30 pm so that there is enough time for proper frisking
  without any inconvenience to the candidate while maintaining the sanctity of the
  examination."
• Students should not wear Slippers, sandals with low heels. Shoes are also not permitted.
• In case, students are not able to follow the rules due to unavoidable circumstances,
  specific approval of NTA is needed before the Admit Cards are issued.

Items Not Allowed To Take Inside Exam Hall

•  Any item like textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, Geometry/Pencil Box,Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Pen, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Eraser, Calculator, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanner, etc.
• Any communication device like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager,
  Health Band, etc.
• Other items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap, etc.
• Any Watch/Wristwatch, Bracelet, Camera, etc.
• Any ornaments/metallic items.
• Any food items opened or packed, water bottle, etc.
