AP POLYCET Exam 2026: The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Andhra Pradesh, has officially published the AP POLYCET Result 2026 on May 5, 2026. Applicants who appeared for the AP POLYCET exam 2026 can now check and download the AP POLYCET 2026 result via the official website - polycetap.ap.gov.in. The conducting body released the AP POLYCET 2026 answer key on April 27, 2026. The objection window was till April 28, 2026 (05:00 PM).

The conducting body released the AP POLYCET hall ticket 2026 on April 18, 2026. The registration process for AP POLYCET 2026 was extended. Candidates could then apply for the AP POLYCET 2026 exam until April 9, 2026. The AP POLYCET (Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Andhra Pradesh. The exam is conducted for students who are looking for admission in various diploma programs offered by government and private polytechnic colleges in Andhra Pradesh. AP POLYCET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates intending to take the AP POLYCET examination need to fulfil the eligibility requirements given below.

Nationality and Domicile

• The candidate applying for AP POLYCET exam must be an Indian Citizen 
• The candidate must be a resident of Andhra Pradesh

Educational Qualification

• For admission in diploma courses offered through POLYCET, candidates must have passed the SSC (Class 10) or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Mathematics as one of the subjects
• Candidates belonging to NIOS / APOSS / OTHER Examinations should have passed all subjects, including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with a minimum of 35% Marks in each subject.
• Candidates who are appearing for the SSC or equivalent examination and whose results are yet to be declared are also eligible to apply.

Age Requirement 

There is no age requirement for the AP POLYCET examination.

SBTET, Andhra Pradesh, will soon release the schedule for AP POLYCET counselling 2026 at their official website. Candidates can register themselves for the AP POLYCET 2026 counselling process through online mode. The application process for AP POLYCET 2026 counselling will comprise registration, payment of processing fee, option entry and seat allotment. After completion of the registration and payment of the fee, applicants need to undergo certificate verification at the designated centres. Based on the AP POLYCET 2026 score, rank, and seat availability, the exam authority will allot seats in the online mode. 

After the allotment of seats, candidates must complete online reporting and finalize their admission to the designated institutes.
