AP POLYCET 2024: Dates, Answer Key, Admit Card, Result & Counselling

AP POLYCET Exam 2024: The State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada has released the AP POLYCET 2024 result in the online mode. Candidates can access their AP POLYCET rank cards by visiting the official website - polycetap.nic.in and entering their hall ticket number. The link to download the AP POLYCET result is now active. 

Earlier, SBTET, Andhra Pradesh released the provisional AP POLYCET answer key which was open for challenge till May 4, 2024. The AP POLYCET Exam was conducted on April 27, 2024. 

What is the AP POLYCET Exam?

The AP POLYCET (Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Andhra Pradesh. The exam is conducted for students seeking to take admission to various diploma programs offered by government and private polytechnic colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

AP POLYCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates intending to take the AP POLYCET examination need to fulfil the eligibility requirements given below.

Nationality and Domicile

• The candidate applying for AP POLYCET exam must be an Indian Citizen 
• The candidate must be a resident of Andhra Pradesh

Educational Qualification

• For admission in diploma courses offered through POLYCET, candidates must have passed the SSC (Class 10) or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Mathematics as one of the subjects
• Candidates belonging to NIOS / APOSS / OTHER Examinations should have passed all subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with minimum of 35% Marks in each subject.
• Candidates who are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination and whose results are yet to be declared are also eligible to apply.

Age Requirement 

There is no age requirement for the AP POLYCET examination.

Step 3: Register using your SSC Hall Ticket number/Mobile number and create an online account

Step 4: Fill out the application form providing required details 

Step 5: Upload scanned photographs and signatures as per the specified format.

Step 6: Pay the application fee using the online payment gateway.

AP POLYCET 2024 Answer Key 

The AP POLYCET Answer Key is released by the State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Andhra Pradesh after the successful completion of the exam. 

The answer key released before the result is provisional in nature, that is, it can be challenged by the candidates if they are not satisfied with the answers provided in the answer key. Candidates can access the answer key on the official AP POLYCET website.

The SBTET will release the AP POLYCET 2024 Result at the official website tentatively by May 13, 2024. The scores and rank obtained by the candidate will be available in the form of AP POLYCET 2024 rank card. The rank cards will display the individual section-wise marks as well as total marks obtained by the candidate. Candidates will be able to access their results on the official website by logging in through their credentials.

SBTET, Andhra Pradesh will release the schedule for AP POLYCET 2024 counselling at the official website.Candidates will be able to register themselves  for the counselling process in the online mode. Based on the AP POLYCET score, rank, and seat availability, qualified candidates will be called for counselling and seat allocation.

During online registration for the counselling process, candidates will be able to choose their preferred colleges and programs based on their rank and available seats.
