AP POLYCET Exam Date 2026: The State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada has started the online application process for the upcoming AP POLYCET 2026 exam on March 3, 2026. The AP POLYCET (Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Andhra Pradesh. Nationality and Domicile

• The candidate applying for AP POLYCET exam must be an Indian Citizen 
• The candidate must be a resident of Andhra Pradesh

Educational Qualification

• For admission in diploma courses offered through POLYCET, candidates must have passed the SSC (Class 10) or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Mathematics as one of the subjects
• Candidates belonging to NIOS / APOSS / OTHER Examinations should have passed all subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with minimum of 35% Marks in each subject.
• Candidates who are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination and whose results are yet to be declared are also eligible to apply.

Age Requirement 

There is no age requirement for the AP POLYCET examination.

AP POLYCET Counselling 2026

SBTET, Andhra Pradesh will soon release the schedule for AP POLYCET counselling 2026 at their official website. Candidates can register themselves for the AP POLYCET 2026 counselling process through online mode. The application process for AP POLYCET 2026 counselling will comprise of registration, payment of processing fee, option entry and seat allotment. After completion of the registration and payment of the fee, applicants need to undergo certificate verification at the designated centres. Based on the AP POLYCET 2026 score, rank, and seat availability, the exam authority will allot seats in the online mode. 

After the allotment of seats, candidates must complete online reporting and finalize their admission to the designated institutes.
