AP POLYCET Counselling 2024: Candidates who have qualified in the Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP POLYCET) will be called for the AP POLYCET counselling process to secure admission in diploma courses offered by various private and government polytechnic colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

AP POLYCET counselling dates will be announced by the State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Andhra Pradesh after the declaration of results. The counselling process will likely commence in August 2024 (tentative date). However, no official dates have been announced by the board as of now. 

Following the announcement of AP POLYCET 2024 result, a detailed notice will be released by the board inviting students to participate in certificate verification and option entry. Information regarding web-based counselling and venues for certificate verification will be accessible on the official AP POLYCET website. Candidates called for counselling must bring all original certificates and documents to any designated venue for verification.

AP POLYCET Seat Allotment Date 2024

The seat allotment process for AP POLYCET 2024  will be conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Andhra Pradesh in August 2024 (tentatively). However, no official AP POLYCET seat allotment date has been released by the board as of now.

The AP POLYCET Seat Allotment process is based on the ranks obtained by candidates in the AP POLYCET examination, seat availability, category reservation (if applicable), and the choices/preferences filled by the candidates during the option entry process

The results of seat allotment for AP POLYCET 2024 will be declared online at the official website. Candidates can view their allotment status by logging in with their credentials. Candidates who have been allotted seats must confirm their admission by self-joining and reporting to the assigned college. Failure to confirm admission by the deadline will result in seat cancellation.

AP POLYCET Counselling Process

The online counselling for AP POLYCET 2024 will be conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh through its official website. Eligible candidates with a valid rank in AP POLYCET 2024 can participate in the AP POLYCET counselling process which involves the following steps: 

Step 1: Candidates are required to register themselves at the official website and pay the processing fee for the counselling process.

Step 2: Eligible candidates must submit required documents for verification at the designated venue and participate in the option entry process.

Step 3: During the verification and option entry process, candidates will be informed about the web counselling procedure. 

Step 4: On completion of the verification and option entry process, candidates will be able to select preferred courses and colleges online. It is advisable to keep a printout of the options selected by the candidates to keep a record of preference. 

Step 5: Choices submitted on the final day of counselling will be locked and used for allotment processing.

Step 6: Seat allotment will be based on a computer program, taking into account the candidate's merit across all applicable reservation categories with the best available seats.

Step 7: Candidates who are allotted seats must download the allotment order.

Step 8: After receiving their allotted seats, candidates satisfied with the selection must complete online reporting and finalise admission procedures at the designated institute. 

AP POLYCET Counselling 2024: Documents Required

Candidates participating in AP POLYCET Counselling 2024 need to ensure they have the following documents for verification:

• AP POLYCET Rank Card
• AP POLYCET Hall Ticket
• SSC or equivalent mark sheet
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)
• Income Certificate issued on or after January 1, 2024 (for fee reimbursement)
• Aadhar Card
• Residence Certificate of either of parents in Andhra Pradesh for a period of 10 years
• Other relevant documents as specified by the authorities.

Process to surrender/cancel the allocated AP POLYCET seats

Candidates who wish to surrender or cancel the allocated AP POLYCET seats must follow a procedure outlined below. 

Step 1: Refer to the surrender dates on the AP POLYCET website.

Step 2: Access the application form and select the "Surrender Tab."

Step 3: Complete the surrender form online and retain a printed copy for reference.

AP POLYCET 2024 Counselling will be conducted at various designated Helpline Centres across Andhra Pradesh. These centres serve as the primary points of contact for candidates seeking guidance and assistance regarding the counselling process.

AP Polycet 2024 Spot Round Counselling

The AP POLYCET 2024 Spot Round Counselling is conducted to fill any vacant seats remaining after the regular counselling process. Eligible candidates can participate in this round to secure admission to available seats in participating colleges.
