AP POLYCET Counselling 2025: The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Andhra Pradesh will release the complete counselling schedule after result declaration. Candidates qualifying in AP POLYCET 2025 are eligible to participate in the counselling process. The web counselling involves three steps - payment of processing fee, certificate verification and choice filling.

The decentralised certificate verification process for qualified candidates is conducted according to the ranks secured. The choices for preferred colleges can be filled through the official website - appolycet.nic.in. Following the announcement of AP POLYCET 2025 result, a notice will be released by the board inviting students to participate in certificate verification and option entry. Information regarding web-based counselling and venues for certificate verification will be accessible on the official AP POLYCET website. 

After allotment of seats, candidates can complete the self reporting process within the specified deadline. Self reporting includes uploading required documents and payment of admission fee. Further, candidates will be required to report to the allotted institute to confirm their admission. Last year, the AP POLYCET counselling commenced from May 24, 2024.

AP POLYCET Counselling 2025 Schedule - Web Counselling

The qualified candidates must take all original documents along with the receipt of processing fee to the nearest helpline centres on the dates specified by the conducting body. The tentative dates for web counselling are provided below. 

AP POLYCET Seat Allotment 2025

The seat allotment process for AP POLYCET is conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET). For each phase of counselling, the seat allotment result will be released at appolycet.nic.in. The AP POLYCET seat allotment is based on the ranks obtained by candidates in the AP POLYCET examination, seat availability, category reservation (if applicable), and the choices/preferences filled by the candidates during the option entry process.

Candidates can view their allotment status by logging in with their credentials. Candidates who have been allotted seats must confirm their admission by self-joining and reporting to the assigned college. Failure to confirm admission by the deadline will result in seat cancellation.

AP POLYCET 2025 Counselling Process

Eligible candidates with a valid rank can participate in the AP POLYCET counselling process which involves the following steps: 

Step 1: Candidates are required to register themselves at the official website and pay the processing fee for the counselling process.

Step 2: Eligible candidates must submit required documents for verification at the designated venue and participate in the option entry process.

Step 3: During the verification and option entry process, candidates will be informed about the web counselling procedure. 

Step 4: On completion of the verification and option entry process, candidates will be able to select preferred courses and colleges online. It is advisable to keep a printout of the options selected by the candidates to keep a record of preference. 

Step 5: Choices submitted on the final day of counselling will be locked and used for allotment processing.

Step 6: Seat allotment will be based on a computer program, taking into account the candidate's merit across all applicable reservation categories with the best available seats.

Step 7: Candidates who are allotted seats must download the allotment order.

Step 8: After receiving their allotted seats, candidates satisfied with the selection must complete online reporting and finalise admission procedures at the designated institute. 

AP POLYCET Counselling 2025: Documents Required

Candidates participating in AP POLYCET Counselling need to ensure they have the following documents for verification:

• AP POLYCET Rank Card
• AP POLYCET Hall Ticket
• SSC or equivalent mark sheet
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)
• Income Certificate (for fee reimbursement)
• Aadhar Card
• Residence Certificate of either of parents in Andhra Pradesh for a period of 10 years
• Other relevant documents as specified by the authorities.

Process to surrender/cancel the allocated AP POLYCET seats

Candidates who wish to surrender or cancel the allocated AP POLYCET seats must follow a procedure outlined below.

AP Polycet 2025 Spot Round Counselling

The AP POLYCET Spot Round Counselling is conducted to fill any vacant seats remaining after the regular counselling process. Eligible candidates can participate in this round to secure admission to available seats in participating colleges.
