  • As per official notification, the CET Cell has announced the tentative exam dates for Mah B.Des CET exam 2025 on November 27, 2024. The Mah B.Design CER exam 2025 is scheduled to be held on March 29, 2025.

State CET Cell has set certain eligibility criterias that must be satisfied by the candidate in order to appear for the entrance test. For admission to Undergraduate Course in Design through MAH B.Design CET 2025 

Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates, All India Candidates, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Union Territory of Ladakh Migrant Candidature candidates

  • Candidate should be an Indian National
  • Candidates should have passed 10+2 exam and obtained at least 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of Reserved categories, EWS & PwD category belonging to Maharashtra) and obtained non-zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority.

Children of NRI/OCI/PIO, Children of India workers in the Gulf countries and Foreign National Candidature Candidates 

  • Candidates should have passed 10+2 exam and obtained
  • Any other criterion declared by appropriate authority from time to time 

Note: There is no age limit for appearing for MAH B.Design CET 2025. 

MAH B Design CET Registration 2025

MAH B.Des CET Registration typically begins in Early January and ends in February every year. Candidates who wish to appear for the MAH B.Design CET Exam must fill the application form available on cetcell.mahacet.org. 

To register for the exam, candidates must pay an application fee depending on the category that they belong in. The application fee can only be paid by Internet Banking, IMPS, Mobile Wallets, UPI, etc. The application fee is non-refundable and will not be accepted in any other mode of payment other than online. MAH B Design CET 2025: Admit Card

The MHA B.Design CET Admit Card 2025 is typically released a few weeks before the exam in March each year. Candidates who have successfully registered will be issued the hall ticket which can be downloaded by logging in with their credentials. The MAH B.Des CET Hall Ticket is an essential document as it contains important information about the exam like the candidate’s roll number. Aspirants can download the admit card from cetcell.mahacet.org. 

It is mandatory to bring the admit card to the examination centre on the day of the exam as the candidate’s identity will be verified with respect to his/her details on the admit card. Candidates must remember that issuance of the hall ticket merely enables them to appear for the examination and does not confirm admission to any programs. 

MAH B Design CET Exam Pattern & Syllabus 

In order to score well in the MAH B.Design CET 2025, candidates should familiarise themselves with the exam pattern. MAH-B.Des CET 2025 consists of two papers each of 100 marks. The test will be conducted offline and candidates will get 1 hour 30 mins to solve each paper, a total of 3 hours for the entirety of the examination. 

The exam has no negative marking, with each correct answer earning 1 mark. Students are advised to answer all the questions carefully as changing of answers is not allowed.   • Paper I/Part A is MCQ based and is divided into four sections namely, General Knowledge/Awareness, Art & Design Fundamentals, Science & Technology, Analytical and Logical Reasoning. 
  • Part B/Paper II focuses on sketching skills and problem solving abilities and is divided into two sections: Visualisation & Illustration Ability and Design Thinking and Problem Solving.

The MAH B.Design CET 2025 Answer Key is generally released in June, before the declaration of the final result. Candidates can access it by using their application number and date of birth on cetcell.mahacet.org. With the help of the MAH B.Des CET Answer Key, candidates can estimate their score and the expected cut off.
