Calcutta Institute of Technology: The Calcutta Institute of Technology (CIT) was established in 2004 and is located in Uluberia, Howrah (West Bengal). It is located in a peaceful, green campus near the Mumbai–Kolkata National Highway (NH-6) in Uluberia, about 30 km from Howrah and 34 km from Kolkata. It has good connectivity with Kolkata, which helps in staying in touch with academic and scientific institutions for continuous growth.

The Institute offers B.Tech at the undergraduate level, and M.Tech and MCA at the postgraduate level, along with Diploma courses in different engineering fields. Admission to B.Tech is based on JEE Main scores and WBJEE scores as well. For MCA, candidates are admitted through WBJECA and must have a relevant graduation degree. Admission to M.Tech is done through PGET counselling conducted by WBUT.
