TN HSE +1 Exam 2026: Dates, Pattern, Syllabus, Question Papers, Results

TN HSE +1 Exam 2026: The Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu (DGE) will conduct the TN class 11 board exams (only for Arrear candidates) from March 3 to March 27, 2026. The exams will be held in pen and paper/offline mode in Tamil Nadu. Students who will be appearing for the class 11 exams, this year, can check their exam schedule from the official website of the board - dge.tn.gov.in. The TN HSE +1 practicals exams are scheduled from February 16 to 21, 2026. 

TN HSE +1 board exam has been scrapped from the academic year 2025-26. Tamil Nadu has introduced its New State Education Policy 2025 on August 8, 2025. The TN DGE will no longer conduct the board exams for class 11 now, as per the state's education policy.

As per offcial DGE Tamil Nadu notice, the TN HSE plus one Result 2026 will be declared on May 20, 2026, tentatively. The direct result link can be accessed from the official website - dge.tn.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in. In order to qualify in TN HSE +1 exams, students are required to achieve a minimum aggregate score of 33% in their board exams. Last year, the overall pass percentage for Class 11 result was 92.09% where the pass percentage for girls is 95.13% and for boys, it was recoreded as 88.70%.

The TN HSE +1 exam time table has been released for the 2025-26 session. The board has announced that class 11 exams will conducted from March 3 to March 27, 2026. Students can check the Tamil Nadu exam date sheet for class 11th in the table below:

TN 11th Admit Card 2026

The Directorate of Government Examinations releases the Tamil Nadu Higher Education admit card for both the first and second years via the official website, dge.tn.gov.in. Respective school authorities can visit dge.tn.gov.in., the official website of Tamil Nadu Board, to download the admit card on behalf of the students. 

TN 11th Exam Day Instructions 2026

Students appearing for the TN HSE +1 exam 2026 must go through the following exam day guidelines:

• It is required for students to bring their TN 11th admit card 2026 to the exam hall since it is a necessary document that also acts as identification.
• It is recommended that students arrive at the exam location at least half an hour ahead of schedule.
• Gadgets and electronics of any kind are prohibited from the examination room. Therefore, students shouldn't carry any of the same.
• Students should bring the stationery they need to complete the exam to prevent any form of inconvenience during the test.
• It is not acceptable for students to use unfair techniques. It may result in unfavorable outcomes and disqualification from the candidate's exam.

TN Board Class 11th Result 2026

The Tamil Nadu board class 11th result for 2026 session will be announced on May 20, 2026. The link to the TN 11th result 2026 will be available on tnresults.nic.in, the official result website. The Tamil Nadu Plus One Result can be downloaded by students by entering their registration number and date of birth at the TN HSE Plus 1 result portal. Last year, the results of the TN HSE +1 exams were declared on May 16, 202 by the Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu.
