NBSE HSSLC Exam 2026: The Nagaland Board of School Education, Kohima conducts the NBSE HSSLC exams in pen-paper mode. The NBSE class 12 board exams will be conducted from February 12 to March 9, 2026. Students appearing for the upcoming board exams can check and download the NBSE HSSLC Exam Schedule 2026 through the official website - nbsenl.edu.in. The board released the HSSLC datesheet on November 29, 2025 in online mode.

The Nagaland board releases the NBSE HSSLC result 2026 in online mode. To download their marksheets, students need to enter the necessary credentials such as roll number, date of birth, year of exam, etc. in the result login window. Last year, the NBSE 12th exams were conducted from February 11 to March 7, 2025, and the NBSE HSSLC result was out on April 25, 2025. A total of 17,194 candidates had appeared for the exams at 68 exam centres across the state.

As per officials, out of 17,194 candidates, 546 candidates appeared for the compartmental examination across the streams. Moreover, under the main category, 12,403 students sat for Arts, 1,026 for Commerce and 3,219 for Science streams.

NBSE HSSLC 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Students can check the minimum eligibility criteria required to appear for NBSE HSSLC exams:

• Students must have passed their class 11th from any institution affiliated with NBSE with minimum passing marks. 
• They must have a minimum of 80% attendance in their class 12th.
• Only students who have registered for the NBSE exams 2026 and whose applications are accepted by the board officials will be eligible to appear for the exam.

School authorities are responsible for distributing the NBSE HSSLC admit cards 2026 to the students.
