JKBOSE 10th Exam Pattern 2024: The JKBOSE (Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education) class 10th exam pattern is the format used by the board to hold the class 10th exams. Each subject is covered in the exam for 2.5 hours, making the exam last a total of 3 hours.   • The exam for each subject will be worth 100 marks, with (for most subjects)  80 marks for written papers and 20 marks for practicals. For science, the written exam will be for 84 marks and the practical for 16.

JKBOSE 10th Exam Pattern 2024: Types of Questions Asked 

As mentioned earlier, the exam for each compulsory and selected subject will be divided into two sections: Part A and Part B. There will be different types of questions in the exam, some of them being-

  • Short Answer Type-  2 or 3 sentences to explain the answer. Will be worth 4 marks.
  • Long Answer Type- In-depth explained answers in paragraphs. Will be worth 7, 6, and 5 marks depending on the question type.
  • Very Short Answer Type- One-word answers, will be worth 2 marks.
  • MCQ-based- will be worth 1 mark for each question.

Note: Part A will include Multiple Choice Questions whereas Part B will include long and short question types.
