ISC 12th Exam Pattern 2026: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) releases the exam pattern for ISC class 12 exam 2026 in online mode. Students studying for the ISC 12th board exam need to be familiar with the format of the various subject exams. Group I, Group II, and Group III are the three groups into which the subjects are split. It's essential to keep in mind that Group I's four subjects are all mandatory. 

CISCE conducts the ISC class 12th exam in pen and paper mode annually. The duration for most of the exams is 3 hours. Students appearing for the examination can check the updated exam pattern & syllabus of Class 12.

The CISCE Board has released the ISC Class 12 syllabus 2026 for all the subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Commerce, Accounts, History, Geography, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Legal Studies.

According to the ISC 12th exam pattern, subjects in Groups I and II also include 20% of their total marks for the internal exam, whereas Group III subjects include 50% of their total marks for the internal exam. English is a necessary subject, and students are obliged to select a maximum of six subjects from each of the three groupings. Candidates must select the optional subjects during the registration procedure. It should be emphasised that after the subjects have been selected, there will be no room for alteration.
