CGBSE 10th Board Exam 2026: Supplementary Exam Dates (OUT), Admit Card, Result

CGBSE Class 10th Exam 2026: The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has released the CGBSE Class 10th supplementary 2026 exam dates on its official website. Candidates can download the supplementary exam date PDF from the official website - cgbse.nic.in. The CGBSE 10th supplementary exam 2026 is scheduled to be held from July 9, 2026 to July 21, 2026. 

CGBSE released the 10th Board Result 2026 on April 29, 2026, at 02:30 PM. The Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, announced the CGBSE 10th Result 2026 via a press conference. Students who appeared for the first board exam were able to check their results from the official website - cgbse.nic.in. Apart from the official website, students could also check their class 10th first exam result 2026 from the official IE Education Portal. Students were required to enter their login credentials, such as roll number and security captcha, in designated spaces to access the result.

CGBSE issued an advisory for all the students who appeared in the board examination conducted by the board earlier this year, urging them to stay vigilant for fake callers and not engage in any unauthorised financial transactions. The board also mentioned that such cases have been reported in the past years, and if students receive any call demanding money in return for marks or result improvement, they should immediately report the case to the nearest police station. CGBSE 10th practical exams 2026 were conducted from January 1 to 20, 2026. The first CGBSE class 10th board exam was conducted from February 21 to March 13, 2026, and the second examination is likely to take place in July 2026. The results for the CGBSE board exams 2026 for the second exams are likely to be released in August. CGBSE 10th Result 2026 

The CGBSE Class 10th Result 2026 has been announced on April 29, 2026, at 02:30 PM for the first exam on the official CGBSE website. Students who are unhappy with their scores can apply for the revaluation process online. The class 10 results after revaluation are usually released in the month of June. Students who fail to clear one or two subjects will have to appear for the CGBSE 10th supplementary exams. The class 10 supplementary exams are usually conducted in the month of July, and the supplementary exam results are mostly released in August. Last year, the results for the second examination were declared on August 19.

CGBSE Class 10th Exam 2026

From 2024 onwards, the board conducts class 10th exams twice a year, with the same format for both terms. As for the exam pattern, the CG board 10th exams 2026 will carry a weightage of 100 marks for each subject. The theory paper will be of 75 marks, while 26 marks will be given for the practical. Each paper in the CGBSE 10th exams 2026 will be held for 3 hours, apart from which an extra 15 minutes will be provided to students for reading the question paper. Each subject has a different paper pattern depending on the sections and their weightage. Chhattisgarh Board Class 10th syllabus includes six subjects, namely Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Social Science, and Science.

Students scoring less than 33% marks in the Chhattisgarh board exams are considered 'fail'. Students who have failed in one or two subjects can apply for the compartment exams. Last year, the CGBSE class 10th first board exams were conducted from March 3 to March 24, 2025, and the results for the same were declared on May 7, 2025. The second main class 10th board exam was conducted from July 9 to July 21, 2025, in pen and paper format, and the results were declared on  August 19, 2025.

CGBSE 10th Application Form 2026

Students appearing for the Chhattisgarh class 10th board exams have to fill out their application forms in order to register for the examination. School authorities assist the appearing students in registering for the board exams. However, private candidates who are not enrolled in schools have to register for the board exams on their own. The registration process is done in online mode at the board's official website.

The CGBSE Class 10 admit cards can be downloaded from the official website. Students must necessarily carry their admit cards to the examination venue on all exam days.
