Eligibility  and Selection Criteria

• JEE- Mains/Advance/ Other state engineering entrance exams are also considered valid for admissions in KLEF.
• KLEF accepts uni-GAUGE results for B.Tech admissions.

KLEF PhD and PDF Admission 2024

Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation offers PhD and Postdoctoral fellowship opportunities to Candidates meeting the specified eligibility criteria of the Institution.

Eligibility Criteria for PhD

• PhD in Engineering- An eligible candidate must have a masters degree in a relevant field with minimum 60% marks or 6.75 cgpa (5% relaxation for reserved category).
• PhD in Science/Management/Humanities/Law/Pharmacy- Candidate must hold a masters degree in relevant field with minimum 55% marks or 6.25 cgpa (5% relaxation for reserved category) from a recognized institution.

• PhD with B.Tech qualification- KLEF also provides a select number of PhD seats in engineering to top 500 GATE rankers with minimum 8.0 cgpa and exemplary academic track record from 10th standard.
• Candidates are selected on the basis of above mentioned criteria and the university also considers UGC NET/CSIR and other state level exams of similar weightage.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria for PDF

• An eligible candidate must hold a PhD degree from any recognized university of India or Abroad.
• Candidates who have submitted their PhD thesis can also apply.
• The upper age limit for PDF in KLEF is 35 at the time of application.
