BPSC Cut-Off 2023: BPSC cut-off is released on the official website after the declaration of results. The cut-off is released in the form of a PDF. The BPSC cut-off refers to the minimum marks a candidate needs to score in order to pass the test. Further, candidates should note that there are three stages in the examination including the prelims, mains and interview, hence the cut-off for all three stages are released separately after the declaration of results.

Through the BPSC examination, candidates are recruited for different posts offered under the administration of the state government.

Once the BPSC results are released, the exam authorities also release the cut-off of the specific post. All three phases of the examination will have different cut-offs. Therefore, candidates should only check the cut-off for the specific post they applied for. BPSC will determine the cut-off for all the posts and they will be responsible for releasing the cut-off on the official website.

Step 3: Once clicked on the result link, candidates will see the results and cut-off 

Step 4: The document will be given in PDF form and candidates can check for the relevant cut-off based on the category they belong to

Factors Determining the BPSC Cut-Off

There are a bunch of factors that determine the BPSC cut-off and due to this, the cut-off varies each year. Candidates can take the following factors into consideration while checking the results. 

• Aspirants who appeared for the BPSC exam 
• The difficulty level of the examination
• Number of vacancies released for the specific post
• Candidate's overall performance  

NOTE: One of the criteria used to determine the cut-off is a category.  If in case, the number of vacancies is reduced, then the cut-off for the specific post and year will witness an increase, whereas if the vacancies for a post have been increased, then the cut-off will be decreased.
