APPSC Exam Dates 2024: Take a look at Prelims and Main Exam Dates, Steps to Apply, and other information

APPSC Dates 2024: The APPSC Group 1 and 2 dates are released by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission on the official website. The APPSC prelim exam for Group 1 is set to take place on March 17, 2024. Meanwhile, APPSC Group 2 prelims exam was concluded on February 25, 2024.

The official dates for the main exam are yet to be announced. Further, candidates must know that there are three stages of the APPSC exam -- Prelim, Main and Interview. In order to qualify for the exam, the candidates have to clear all three levels one by one. 

The registration for APPSC Group 2 started on December 21, 2023. The APPSC group 2 admit card for prelims was released on February 14, 2024. Since the dates for the Group 1 preliminary examination has been released, the APPSC will soon release the admit card. It is expected that the exam conducting body will release the admit card a week prior to the examination. 

The examination will take place in both languages that are English and Telugu. The notification for the APPSC Group 2 exam was released on December 7, 2023. Candidates who will succeed in clearing the prelims examination will be further eligible to appear for the Main exam.

APPSC Group 1 and 2 prelims date has been released on the official website. The APPSC Main exam will take place after the prelim exam is concluded. The exam conducting body is expected to release the entire date sheet online. Further, candidates should know that the admit card for the prelims and main exam will be released on the official website.

APPSC Prelim Exams 2024

Since the APPSC Group 2 exam has three phases, the prelim examination is the beginning of the APPSC examination. The Prelim exam also known as the screening exam is the first step for candidates to begin their journey for the recruitment exam. Candidates who will clear the prelim exam will be further eligible to appear for the Main exam. 

Further, the APPSC Group 1 prelims examination is going to be held on March 17, 2024. Meanwhile, the Group 2 prelim exam was conducted on February 25, 2024.  Candidates who clear the exam will now be eligible to appear in the Main exam. 

APPSC Main Exam 2024

Once the candidate has cleared the Prelim exam, aspirants will be eligible to appear for the Main exam. The APPSC Main exam is the second step for the APPSC recruitment exam. Aspirants who will clear the APPSC Main exam will be further eligible to appear for the Interview session. 

Candidates should know that the admit card for both the stages - Prelims and Main will be released separately. 

APPSC Application Process 2024 

Candidates must first fill the APPSC application form for the exam in order to appear for the APPSC Prelims and Main exam. Further, those candidates who will successfully register themselves will be able to get their APPSC admit card.  Before filling the application form, candidates need to look for the eligibility prescribed by the education body to be eligible for the exam. 

There are various processes involved in applying for the APPSC Group 2 exam, including completing the application form, uploading the required files, and paying the applicable costs.

APPSC Registration 2024: Steps to Fill Application Form 

Step 1: Visit the official website 

Step 2: Candidates who have their OTPR ID can log in on the website using their name (OTPR ID) and the password they have set

Step 3: Candidates will find the link on the right bottom of the website that reads 'online application submission' -- click on that 

Step 4: Candidates now need to click on the payment link

Step 5: The OTPR data will pre-populate details such as the calculation of the fee and age relaxation 

Step 6: Fill in the details as asked 

Step 7: Candidates need to fill in application-specific data including Local/non-local status and other information after their data has been verified

Step 8: Candidates need to submit the payment form once the data has been filled properly. 

Step 9: Candidates will be given different options to make payment and they have to select one among them

Step 10: Once application fees are submitted, the candidate's payment reference ID is generated and displayed on the screen.
