CLAT Answer Key 2026 Out: Provisional Answer Key PDF, Objection Window, Date

CLAT Answer Key 2026: The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLUs) has released the provisional answer key for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 on December 10, 2025 (5:00 PM) on its official website. Candidates who wish to raise objections regarding the questions or the provisional answer key(s) may do so through the designated portal for CLAT 2026. The objection window is now open, starting on December 10, 2025 (at 5:00 PM) and will close on December 12, 2025 (5:00 PM).

The Consortium of National Law Universities successfully conducted the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2026) for undergraduate (LLB) and postgraduate (LLM) admissions on December 7, 2025. This year, the CLAT 2026 exam was conducted across 156 examination centres spanning 25 States, 93 cities, and 4 Union Territories, where 92,344 candidates registered (75,009 for UG and 17,335 for PG).

CLAT 2026 Provisional Answer Key, Question Booklet

Candidates who have appeared for the UG and PG CLAT 2026 exam on December 07, 2025, may file their objections, if any, on the official website. Given below is the official answer key and question booklet released on the official CLAT website.

Four different series of Question Booklets, which are used in the CLAT 2026 exam, have been published. A fee of Rs. 500 is to be paid for each objection. If the objection is found to be valid and sustained, the said fee will be refunded to the same account from which it was paid. If Candidates raise objections using question numbers that do not match their respective Question Booklet set as indicated in the CLAT 2026 Answer Key PDF, the Consortium will not respond to such objections.

Candidates can download their answer key PDF for CLAT 2026 by following the instructions given below: 

Step 1: Visit the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in

Step 2: Now, click on the link for CLAT 2026 provisional answer key under the “Notifications” section

Step 3: The provisional answer key PDF will be displayed on your screens

Step 4: Check the answers by tallying with the CLAT question paper

CLAT Answer Key 2026 Objection Window

After downloading the provisional answer key, candidates will be able to check answers for the CLAT 2026 question paper. In case candidates are not satisfied with the CLAT provisional answer key, they can raise challenges against it. Here is how to raise objections against the CLAT answer key: 

Step 1: Log in to the CLAT 2026 account at the official website

Step 2: Click on the “submit objections” link

Step 3: Select your Question Paper Booklet Set

Step 4: Now, choose the type of objection, i.e., ‘About the Answer Key’ or ‘About the Question’

Step 5: Select the question number and enter all the relevant details for your objection

Step 6: Pay the answer key challenge fees and submit your CLAT 2026 answer key challenge

CLAT Answer Key 2026: Challenge Fees

Candidates who wish to raise objections against the CLAT answer key will be required to pay a challenge fee of Rs. 500 per objection. If the objection raised is found to be valid, the answer key challenge fee will be refunded to the candidate. However, if the objection is found to be invalid, there will be no refund of the submitted fee. 

CLAT Final Answer Key 2026

The Consortium of NLUs will release the final answer key for the CLAT 2026 exam soon after the objection window is closed. Candidates must note that the final answer key may be different from the provisional key, since it is prepared on the basis of objections submitted by the candidates. The result for the CLAT exam 2026 will be prepared based on the final answer key. No objections against the CLAT final answer key will be entertained by the consortium.
