IPMAT 2025: Exam Date, Eligibility, Application Form, Admit Card, Exam Pattern, Answer Key and Result

IPMAT 2025: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore has announced the dates for the IPMAT 2025 exam. It is scheduled to be conducted on May 12, 2025 in the afternoon shift. The application form for the Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) released on February 14, 2025. Interested candidates can check the official website of the IIM Indore - iimidr.ac.in. IPMAT 2025 is an aptitude test for all the candidates who wish to take admission in the IIM's five year integrated programme in management.

The last date to submit an application form for the IPMAT exam has been extended by the authority. Now, the last date to submit the form is April 1, 2025 till 5 PM. Those candidates who want to appear in the examination must fill their application form within the duration set by the authority. The IIM releases the IPMAT admit card 2025 a few days before the examination. The IPMAT 2025 exam will have 90 questions to be attempted in 120 minutes. Each correct answer fetches 4 marks and one negative mark for the incorrect ones.

IIM Indore releases IPMAT answer key soon after the exam. Candidates can raise objection to the provisional answer key, if any. The IPMAT Result is expected to be out in June 2025. The IPMAT Indore scores are used by IIM Ranchi, NALSAR Hyderabad, IIFT New Delhi and Alliance University, Karnataka for admitting candidates for their integrated programme. 

IPMAT EXAM 2025

IIM Indore introduced a five year Integrated Programme in Management in 2011. IPMAT is an aptitude test conducted for selecting candidates for this five year integrated programme. The IPM course is designed for students who want to make a career in management. This course offers a combination of bachelor’s as well as master's degree with a foundation of world class education in social sciences followed by management education. The programme has been accredited by the Association of MBAs, London (4th and 5th year).

Candidates will be selected for the IPM programme on the basis of overall performance of the Aptitude Test(IPMAT) and Personal Interviews(PI). Those who fail in either the Aptitude test or the interviews or both will not be selected for the programme.

IPMAT scores are accepted in IIM Ranchi for admissions in the 5 year integrated programme. There are many other prestigious institutes like Alliance University Karnataka, IIFT New Delhi, NALSAR Hyderabad that accept the scores of this test for admissions.

IIM Rohtak's IPMAT 2025

Apart from IIM Indore, IIM Rohtak also conducts IPMAT exam for selecting candidates for their five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM). The IIM Rohatak - IPMAT 2025 is scheduled on May 5, 2025. The registration for the same will start on February 6, 2025. Interested candidates can apply for the exam on the official website of IIM Rohtak - iimrohtak.ac.in.

The eligibility criteria for the IPMAT conducted by IIM Rohtak are as follows:

• Minimum 60% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations.
• Maximum 20 years of age as of June 30, 2025.

IIM Rohtak’s IPM Aptitude Test examines the aptitude, logical reasoning, and proficiency in English of the applicants. The table below shows the exam pattern for the IPMAT 2025

Candidates will shortlisted for personal interview on the basis of minimum eligibility criteria and IPMAT Score 2025. The personal interviews are likely to be conducted in June 2025. The Final Merit List will be prepared on the basis of the composite score of IPMAT 2025, past academic performance, and personal interview. 

IPMAT 2025: Eligibility Criteria

IIM Indore has listed certain eligibility criteria for IPMAT. Applicants should check the eligibility criteria before applying for the IPMAT 2025.

• Candidates should not be more than 20 years of age. Age relaxation of 5 years is granted to SC, ST, PwD category candidates. In other words, a candidate should have been born after August 1, 2005 and SC, ST and PwD category after August 1, 2000.
• Candidates applying for IPMAT should have passed Class 12/HSC or equivalent examination in 2023, 2024 or appearing in 2025. 
• Candidates should have passed Class 10/SSC or equivalent.

IPMAT 2025: Application Process

Candidates who are eligible for the IPMAT Exam can apply for the same online. Candidates can register themselves on the official website iimidr.ac.in.  Steps to apply for the IPMAT are:

• Go to the official website of IIM Indore - iimidr.ac.in.
• Look for the section Programmes and Click on the tab Academic Programmes.
• Select Five Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM).
• Go to the Admissions Tab and click on the Apply Online For IPMAT 2025.
• You will be directed to the application form. Enter the information required.
• Upload the required documents and pay the application fee.
• Check all the details entered and click on the submit button.

IPMAT 2025: Application Fee

IIM Indore charges an application fee for applying for the test. The application fee for the aptitude test will be INR 4130. However, there are some relaxations for SC, ST and PwD category Candidates.

IPMAT 2025: Exam Centres

IIM Indore releases a list of 36 cities where the IPMAT Exam is held. Students have to fill an exam centre of their choice in their application form. IIM allots centres on their own discretion keeping in account the choices made by the candidates.

The exam centres for IPMAT 2025 are Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh/ Mohali, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, Guwahati, Gwalior, Hyderabad, Indore, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Meerut, Mumbai, Nagpur, Noida, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Roorkee, Siliguri, Thiruvananthapuram, Udaipur, Ujjain, Varanasi and Visakhapatnam.

IIM Indore reserves the right to change the centre for any candidates or cancel any centre listed above any time.

IPMAT 2025: Admit Card

IPMAT 2025 Admit Card will be available a few days before the exam. IIM Indore will be conducting the IPMAT 2025 on May 12, 2025. The admit card for the exam is expected in the first week of May 2025. Candidates can download their admit Card from the official website of IIM Indore.

For downloading the admit card, candidates can regularly check the announcements section of the official website of the concerned IIM or can follow the steps below:

• Go to the official website of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore.
• Find the Programme Section on the homepage of IIM Indore.
• Click on the Academic Programme tab in the Programme Section.
• Select Five Year Integrated Programme in Management from the list of programmes offered.
• Go to the Admissions sections and click on the link for Admit Card.
• Enter your Login Credentials and download the Admit Card.

IPMAT 2025: Exam Pattern

IPMAT is a computer based examination for selecting candidates for the 5 year Integrated Programme in Management. The Aptitude Test is for a duration of 2 hours. There are a total of 90 questions. The test has three sections - Quantitative, Qualitative and Verbal Ability.

• Each question will carry 4 marks.
• There will be 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 negative mark for each wrong answer (except QA- SA)
• The Quantitative Ability (Short Answer) will not carry any negative marking.

IPMAT 2025: Syllabus

IIM Indore conducts IPMAT for selecting students for its five year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM). The exam has three sections widely covering the topics of Quantitative Ability and Verbal Ability. The Quantitative ability covers the basic mathematics including number system and the arithmetic ability. On the other hand, Verbal Ability focuses on Vocabulary and Grammar. IPMAT 2025: Answer Key

IIM Indore releases the answer key for the IPMAT exam every year. Usually, two answer keys are released for the exam - Provisional Answer Key and the Final Answer Key. 

The first answer key is a provisional key which is usually released immediately after the exam. Students can raise objections if they find any discrepancy. Later, the final answer key is released by the IIM. The IPMAT Result is declared after the final answer key. Candidates can check the answer keys on the official website of the IIM Indore.

IPMAT 2025 Results

IPMAT exam is conducted to select 150 students for a five year Integrated Programme in Management in IIM Indore. IPMAT 2025 is scheduled on May 12, 2025. The IIM is expected to declare the Result of the test within two to three weeks after the examination. Candidates can check the IPMAT Result 2025 on the official website of IIM Indore. The IIM usually releases the result after the release of the final answer key.
