Manipal University: Manipal Academy of Higher Education , formerly known as Manipal University is a private university recognised by University Grants Commision (UGC), was established in 1953 as the first self-financing medical college and as Public Private collaboration model, located in Manipal, India. Manipal Academy of Higher Education is accredited by NAAC with A++ Grade. University ranked 6 th among all the universities and 16th in the overall category as per the NIRF Ranking 2023.
Due to its excellent record in Academic, Infrastructure and Research Contributions as well as its status in national and international rankings, led to the Ministry of Education, Government of India, designating it as an Institution of Eminence Deemed to be University (IoE) in October 2020.
MAHE offers a diverse range of UG and PG courses in multiple disciplines including, management and business administration, medicine and allied sciences, sciences,arts, humanities and social sciences, engineering and architecture, animation and design,commerce , engineering and architecture , animation and design, media, mass communication and design.
MAHE also has a number of off campuses in Jamshedpur, Bangalore and Mangalore along with one off-shore campus in Dubai (UAE).The Bengaluru campus provides programmes in Regenerative Medicine, Engineering, Art & Design, Humanities, Liberal Arts, Social Sciences, Law, and Management. While programs in engineering, management, architecture, information sciences, media communication, etc. are offered in Dubai campus.
MAHE conducts its own entrance exams for admission to various UG and PG courses while for a few courses , admissions are on the basis of merit.
